Traditional IPA aroma. Floral hops up front....flattens out towards the finish. Not terribly complex - but consistent.

Clear amber color, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is lemon, resin, citrus, light caramel. Medium bodied, high bitterness, light peppery alcohol, pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma - tart from the lemons, floral notes from centennial hops and slight malt nose with zing of alcohol.
Color - copper orange with some hints of brown.
Flavor - well balanced with hops, malt and lemons. Lemon is not over powering. Slight maltiness comes through the hops and lemons.
Mouthfeel - full bodied and highly carbonated. Oils from the hops and lemons add slight oil slick feeling on tongue.
Overall Impression - very well balanced for the ABV of 10%. Lemon is apparent but not overwhelming. Hops add a nice bitterness without overpowering the lemon and malt flavor. Another great beer from DFH.

Nice orange brown cloudy pour. Mostly white, thick head. Has a hoppy smell like most centennial IPAs, but there is a strong aroma of lemon. Unique taste. Again, like your typical IIPA with centennial hops, buy very very citrusy from the lemon. Never had so much lemon flavor in a beer. this beer is no where close to as smooth as 90 minute. Much harsher. Still very good. Another greatly unique beer from Dogfish Head. Had the Midas Touch earlier, which was very different. Great job to them creating different tasting brews.

Definitely poured like I expected - hazy with a thick foamy head. The aroma of lemon peel takes over your nose. The hops & citrus are very up front from the beginning.

A thousand reviews in, a hop-head and I may still be a newbie that doesn’t knw howto tell centennial from chinook from cascade, but gosh darnit if I don’t love some bitter hoppy beers.

On draught at 2013 Holiday Ale Festival. Full golden color. Intense aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, and pine hops. Taste is hop forward, with tangerine, grapefruit, and passionfruit, with a hint of sweet malts. Finishes with a pleasing bitterness and citrus note.

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden, almost copperish with a thin head. I can’t say in getting much citrus on the nose. It smells to me like a pine cone. Tastes like a pine cone too which a kind of what I expected given the style of the beer. Finish lingers a bit but it does hide the alcohol well. It’s not bad but I was hoping for more of the lemon thing.

Bottle....copper on the pour with a beige head....citrusy hops on the sniff....holy lemon!.....a burst followed by a quick hop bitter....well crafted (wouldn’t expect anything less from DFH)...but its just a lot of lemon, even down to the bitterness of the seeds....not my favorite, could see this pairing well with a lemon pepper chicken, or some other lemon based protein dish

Hazy dark orange color, good creamy off-white head. Pineapple sweet fruity hoppyness in the nose, also pine needles. Medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity malt base covering the most of alcohol and IBUS. Piney finish. Sweetness kills action here.
