1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
There are a number of references to the indescribability of the beer. Let me try - BAD. It is like they threw in every ingredient including the kitchen sink and hoped for the best - they got the worst.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft that poured a brown color with white head. strong nose old ale/barley wine. strong malt backbone with hints of smoke, vanilla, oak and juniper...oh yes you can smell it. the flavor matches the aroma profile long slow sipper at 11% abv donít be in a rush as it warms the stronger the flavors come out. for me not a true barley wine but more of an old ale. either way its good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
As smooth a barley wine as Iíve encountered though the finish does have a zippy, alcohol-influenced tingle. The aroma is very thick, and with a little effort reveals vanilla and yeast with hints of smoke. The taste is evenly sweet and not too heavy. Poured from a bottle.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours natural maple syrup brown, slight foam head. Aroma of caramel notes, toast, wood, warm & sweet. First sip sweetish on back tongue, hides alcohol content. Smooth, aftertaste is lightly sweet, almost scotchy. Good beer for after dinner.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. The pour is an amber color. The aroma is mostly malt. The taste has a complexness to it, kind of a mess. Don't get any of the flavor profile I was expecting.
