This beer had a pleasant aroma. The taste was better than I anticipated. It was not bitter, but smooth. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Decent brown. Had good flavors with slight nut and caramel notes. Very smooth. Deep coloring. Nothing great in scent.

One of my absolute favorites. Great combo of happiness and rich malty flavor. Roasty, a bit nutty in the middle.

Brown with a medium off-white head. Nutty aroma, minimal hops presence. Flavor is the same, not a lot of hops. A little coffee and chocolate.

At Bir&Fud pub in Rome-Italy, on tap. Pours dark brown (almost black) with reddish texture and a decent and compact ivory head. Nose is definitely sweet: cappuccino, chocolate, warm milk. The mouth mirrors practically the aroma with a predominant presence of dark chocolate.

This is a beer that has such a hoppy front with the most flavor on the back. The malt character, the roastyness and all the sweet caramel and smooth flavor just really makes this a favorite of mine.

355ml bottle. Pours a deep ruby chestnut, verging on black, with a large light beige head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Sweet treacle and toffee notes mix with nutty malt and floral and spice hops to create the aroma. Strong grapefruit and floral hops up front are tempered by treacle sweetness, which builds into the mid-palate, where it plays nicely off savoury, nutty malt. Treacle sweetness and mild floral hops combine in the finish. A very nice brown ale, with a good balance of sweetness and hoppiness.
