12 oz botttle. Poured a dark brown with small tan head. Average mouthfeel, not dry, but not oily either. The taste was a real pleasant surprise. Tastes of molasses, coffee, malts, brown sugar. Seems more like a porter to me. I didn’t pick up much in the way of hops. Finish was not bitter. I picked up a sixer of this for $7.99. I’m going back for more.

Draught at the Beavertown Brewery taproom on 26-Sep-2015 as part of the Rainbow Project. Good brown colour with a tan coloured bead. Softly carbonated. Flavour of caramel, coffee, malt and hops. A really nice imperial brown ale with a lot of flavour.

Bottle. Pours very dark brown with a cloudy head. Smells like burnt caramel. Taste a bit of coffee with a dark roast aftertaste. Mouth feel was okay.

12oz bottle poured right down my gullet. Aromas of brown ale roastiness, chocolate malt, and caramel. Mild to medium bitter. Tasty.

Pours a dark brown from a bottle. Aroma of espresso and molasses, flavor similar except brown sugar added into the mix. Wish I was tasting those raisinets, that sounds interesting, but I’m just not getting it. Good beer.

Bottled, poured into glass. A really solid brown ale. Nice nose, big malt body, and a beautiful finish. Very easy drinking but full of flavor. Great stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma is roasted malt with caramel. Appearance dark brown. Taste was balance of mild sweetness with medium roasted bitterness. Palate light to medium with average carbonation. Overall, a nice ale with strong character and mix of styles like the deScription.

Certainly one of the best brown ales I’ve had. Aroma is barley, malts, and toasted sugar...taste is lots of caramelized sugar, brand flakes...hops too...finish is dry enough with some lingering sweetness and grainy flavor...adequately fizzy...it smells like autumn...
