COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rhizing Bines is a collaborative IPA using the best of both coasts: Carolina-grown red fife wheat and Dogfish Head’s continual-hopping from the East and Sierra Nevada’s estate-grown caramel malt and Torpedo dry-hopping from the west.

On tap, Not hoppy, To call this beer an imperial/double ipa is a crime, this is complete crap, more like a bunk belgian pale lots of fruitiness in a bad way, looks great in the glass but the aroma is not good, way too malty, maybe this was a bad keg but this beer sucked major ass. I cant beleive they can shovel this crap to the public this is a disgrace to well made craft beer, avoid this beer at all costs

daafisch (10) - New York, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Pours an amber color with a thick white head. A soft of sweet aroma. Taste is not as bitter as originally expected. The hop flavor comes on later and doesn’t really linger. The finish has a nice smooth sort of sweeter flavor. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

750 ml. capped bottle. Pours a thick, well retained white head, with some lacing, over a clear light amber (SRM 7) body.....nose is light hop spice, hints of toffee/caramel, light pine, hints of citrus......taste is light toffee/caramel, hints of floral honey, light citrus tones, with moderate hop resin, pine, grapefruit.......mouth feel light of medium, soft, alcohol hidden, carbonation adds a clean finishing tingle. This is a very soft, gentle, relatively light take on a I/DIPA. It is nicely balanced, but does not have the dominant hop character so frequently found. The general style of Dogfish’s dominated that of Sierra Nevada. Think of this as an "East Coast" or English I/DIPA. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7

21.4 ounce bottle. Pours a light copper color with a small rocky beige head and nice clinging lace. Perfumy toasted malt aroma with hints of floral hops. Clean crisp complex bittersweet malt flavor upfront with hints of cardamom. Spicy citrus hops in mid taste. Nice dry hop finish. Nicely balanced and flavorful.
