COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rhizing Bines is a collaborative IPA using the best of both coasts: Carolina-grown red fife wheat and Dogfish Head’s continual-hopping from the East and Sierra Nevada’s estate-grown caramel malt and Torpedo dry-hopping from the west.

Bottle from Bine and Vine: Created a thick fluffy pillow of foam head while a sparkling golden pale ale rested below. Aroma is subtle with only minor hints of hops and bready malts which in all fairness have been rounded out into perfect symmetrical balance. The flavor is mild and still holds the balance between the hops and malts while only allowing a quick notice of sweetness and bitterness due to the malt and hop, however, this tends to be somewhat boring and bland. There is a smooth drinking palate to this beer but that in no way is going to leave a lasting impression on me about this beer.

Serving: 750 ml. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear orange color with a small fluffy head. The nose is mix of grass, orange, caramel, and a hint of pine. The flavor follows suit with a nice hop and malt balance. The finish has a medium bitterness. I was surprised to see this one was 8% and an IIPA. I would have pegged it for more of a APA.

Bottle. Clear bright golden with a short lived fluffy white head. Slightly soapy citrus hops and caramel aroma. Creamy full bodied palate. Grassy caramel and citrus taste with an herbal finish and very well hidden alcohol.

This is a great collaboration beer. Nice hop aroma in the nose. Very hoppy up front but calms way down, this a beautiful beer so many different flavors, citrus, caramel, honey dew melon, also very good balance of malt and hops. Love the hop residue in my throat after each sip. Got this in a trade and want more!!

Pours orange with a frothy head. Aroma is floral. Taste has a citrusy hoppy bite and finishes clean from the malt. Flavors don’t seem to completely come together. Bits of malt and the hops and the perfumey florals all contrast with each other.

Draft at Capones. Pours a cloudy gold with thick lasting off-white head and lacing. Nose of lemon, bubblegum, and sweet malts. The bubblegum flavor overwhelms, some lemon, cotton candy and nail polish remover. Pretty boozy finish.

25.4 oz bottle. Clear orange with a thick frothy head. Aroma is a mundane yet strange mix of orange peel and Cream of Wheat with herbal hints. Medium body with a fluffy mouthfeel. Taste is grass clippings, honey and lemon basil. Limited bittering with a perfume and white pepper finish.

Nice clear golden color with a champagne-like stream of bubbles and a soft layer of white head. A soapy, slightly floral hop aroma and taste...lighter bodied flavor.
