hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Smooth malt, trace of cream. Light hops - pine with a touch of mint and quite bitter on the finish. Finishes smooth. A touch disjointed but quite drinkable. #644 hops in this one as well as Bravo.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2013 The caramel malt is really the star of the show here...if you like that sort of thing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a warm copper/amber color with a pure white head/good retention. Aroma is hoppy with a note of citrus. The flavor is full but not heavy with plenty of body. Solid beer and I like the colabo idea - East meets West, but there really wasn’t anything outstanding here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear copper body under a tall, long lasting, sticky off-white head.
Earthy hop aroma over a sweet malt base.
The flavor is not too sweet, not too hoppy with a dry finish.
O.K. but nothing special here.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bitter herbal hops greet the palate. Leafy and earthy, green and planty. Juicy melon and melon rind tastes burst onto the tongue. Bitterness builds but never quite becomes aggressive. Candied, bubblegum sweetness. Honeyed bread. Hops lend peppery and herbal spice toward the end, as does a slight kick of alcohol. Tropical esters come out more as the beer warms. Dry wheat on the finish with fading earthy and melon-like hop tastes.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, citrus and earthy hops. Taste is a nice malt backbone balanced with the hops. A beer to settle the east coast-west coast feud. Nice lacing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Rehoboth brewpub. Pours a clear bright orange color with two inches of fluffy white head that last a long while. Smells of fruity malts, citrus hops, tropical fruits, caramel, and light alcohol. Taste follows the nose with fruity malts, sweet molasses, tropical fruits, light citrus hops, caramel malts. Nice and fruity, but not much hop bitterness. Medium body and moderate to high carbonation, with light alcohol presence.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Clear, orangey color with a thin white head. Nice floral hops aroma with a hit of citrus. Smooth taste with a good balance of hops and citrus. Not as potent as 90 minute but still a good beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared 750 ml. bottle at Lunar Brewing Co.. Poured to a snifter showing a hazed, orange/amber hue, modest, off white head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma was light to the nose, but mainly sweet, with a touch of esters, and some light graininess. The flavor showed a narrow amount of bitterness with some earthiness and lingering quality, but was surrounded and dominated by sweet maltiness. Medium bodied, with some alcohol presence, but not necessarily a strong example of a DIPA to me.
