UPDATED: AUG 16, 2005 Limited supply for obvious reasons. This 40ouncer is something special. The pour is full of dirty golden goodness. This is a kick ass Liquor de Malt. I wouldn’t even place it in the malt liquor catagory. This is a tasty brewed ale with a abv% boost. Goes down smooth, nice biscuty taste. It’s kinda like sucking on a corn cob once you’ve eatin all the corn, milky. You must follow the directions provided in the case to drink it properly. However, I wouldn’t water the curb with this one, savor every drizzle until next sizzle. Word of advice, this brew made me brake out in hives 3 times! IFollow Rballs01 for the true brew

Ok, first off, high marks in appearance and Overall due to the awesome packaging and the unique concept- a bottle conditioned Malt Liquor!! My ho and I drank this shizzle straight outta the bottle wrapped in it’s included insulation blanket. I swear there is a different buzz that homies get from this stuff, cuz it went straight to my melon and all I wanted to do was cap some coppers!!

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2005 AOBF 04. 40oz. Light yellow to pale gold pour, looks wavy and syrupy. Moderate white head and light lacing. Smells of lots of lager yeast, pale crisp apples, light corn sugar. Flavor begins with an alcohol kick and some lightly sweet malt, and then develops in to a full corn flavored roller coaster. Lots of sweet corn flavor, no hops apparency and a nice fiery finish to it. The mouthfeel is smooth, lightly syrupy and medium-full bodied. Moderate carbonation gives it an added zing. The corn was fresh, the flavors got a bit boring, but it is was it says it is. Dont drink this expecting anything else. Just a well-made malt liquor, and should be judged as such. I think it’s unfair to say, DFH makes much better beers. They certainly do, but you have to keep in mind what they were trying to brew here. This thing puts any other malt liquor I’ve tried to shame. No stale flavors, no harsh ethanol taste, no disgusting thick corn-syrupy feel. If DFH distributed this to my area, I’d be buyin a bunch of it. Bottle conditioned?? Hell yes, these guys have outdone themselves.

Rerate 2004 bottle that has now aged about a year. At first, the alcohol smell is a bit off-putting, but then I remember I’m drinking a malt liquor and dive in. Sweet, flowery-like corn notes, with some alcohol and sharpness, but as it warms, this stuff gets really good. Very smooth, even, drinkable body and texture. Just a well-brewed corn lager with alcohol apparency. The bottle conditioning has done wonders and should continue to do so.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2004 If you were like me, you started out with a fair share of drinking before 21. I remember being 16 and drinking Mickey’s fine malt liquor. Far from fine. If you tried any malt liquor, Dogfish’s kicks them right in the ass! The aroma is sweet and appealing as well as the flavor. This fine malt liquor leaves a bitter-sweet finish on your palate, like kettle corn. It had a wonderfully frothy head all the way down my glass that left nice bits of lacing. The bubbles were quite fun to look at in this blonde-amber brew. Overall compared to other 40’s, this is top notch. Overall in beers, this is a pretty good brew. Cheers, Sam!

Me and Moby had some hoes coming over to our crib so we hit the corner store looking for some 40s to grease them up. Moby came across this french shit called Liquor de Malt. Never seen it before and I bet the hoes don’t neither. It cost almost as much as a bottle of Moet but these bitches we had coming over was pretty sofizticated and according to my homeys, they put out crazy after some good malt. The clerk was some squirrely-ass white boy but when he saw us walking to the counter with two bottles each he said "fellas, I think that shit has viagra in it, I was gettin on my girlfriend all night last night." Moby and I looked at each other and smiled like litte girls then threw the dead presidents on the counter and headed home. Since we are gentlemen we cannot mention what happened that night on this www. But to give you the 411, we highly reccomend a 40 of Liquor de Malt.

A sweat malt beverage with an amazing smooth finish. The only beer our liquor store sells that will never make it past the staff. What What. If you gets the opportunity to taste this diamond of an American beer, drink it down and allow the less privileged to know of this ambrosia of the beer world. I give it my highest recommendation. Joe Money Keep drink’ in new beers, until you can’t taste the difference, then drink Bush CAUSE THATS HOW I ROLL. Gary’s Wine and marketplace Madison N.J.

A nice version of a malt liquor. Above average taste for the style. No off flavors or bitter aftertaste here.

Pours a nice golden color with hints of copper. Good white head. Smells very sweet with a bit of corn. A nice malty sweetness in the taste as well. Not too cloying. A bit of a bready character. Nothing too complex about it, just a nice all-around feel. Nice creamy, carbonated mouthfeel. Fairly crisp with nice drinkability. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-11-2010

Bottle (duh). Pours with a medium amber color. Off-white head is long lived. A half hour later and the head is still a quarter inch tall. Good lacing. Aroma is sweet, a little corny mixed with malt. Taste is sweet and malty. Corn flavors intrude every once in a bit. Light hopping balances things out. Medium bodied. A little throat fire from alcohol. For a malt liquor, really good.
