This here beer is a lagerific departure for our ale-centric brewery. A marriage of old world tradition and new world innovation, My Antonia is brewed with pilsner malt and continually-hopped with a blend of Noble and West Coast hops.

Aroma: Initial scents of hops. followed by citrus Appearance: Pours a golden colour, with a decent white head Taste: For a pils, is fairly hoppy and medium to full bodied. Initial infusion of hops followed by slight grapefruit and citrus notes, with a balanced bitterness. Palate: Hops, citrus Overall: A great Imperial Pils, would highly recommend it for a warm afternoon session beer

Fat på brewdog - doftar parfymig, smakar lite parfym med. Ljus i färgen och grumlig vitt skum. Fin beska något blommig.

Bomber from Supermarket Liquors. Appearance: thrtee finger white head that lasts, straw yellow, clear, soapy head, good lacing. Aroma: floral, light grass, wheat, light citrus, caramel. Palate: light medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. Taste: sweet caramel and malts that builds and somewhere transitions to pretty bitter. Overall, my favorite pils yet. Lovely beer, suprisingly hoppy, crisp, refereshing, and just unique. Very memorable as well; was the first bomber I bought when I turned 21.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2014 Bottle (750ml): pours hazy golden. Big white head. Not your typical pilsner. Lots of flavor. Malt and hops.

Update (9/12/14): Found more of this, but it is dated 4/22/13, near a year and a half old. Not sure how old the previous bottle was, but it tastes a little sour but still good. Dropped rating from 4.0 to 3.9.

(bottle - 750 ml - 2010 vintage) Orange pour with a white head. Sweet malts in the aroma with the lightest floral hint. Flavor is sweet at the start and very astringent and bitter near the finish. Lingering bitter aftertaste.

Transfer from BA review on 2-27-12 - Served in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Pours a nice golden color with a light off white head. The head fades with moderate amount of lacing. Smell – A sweeter citrus aroma meets the nose. As the smell advances floral and some maltiness and a bit of more piney hop aroma become detectable. Taste – A crisp taste of citrus flavors are upfront, just as in the nose. A more bready malt flavor works its way in and mixes in with some citrus and pine hop flavors. Toward the end, a little bit of yeast flavor that comes into play; mixing well with the other flavors to round out the taste experience. Mouthfeel – The body is of moderate character with a slightly higher than normal carbonation level. The body and carbonation are very fitting for the crispness of the taste; delivering a rather exciting experience for the tongue. Overall – This is one nice beer. It is crisp and refreshing yet packed with quite a bit of flavor. One I will surly do again.
