A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander. This beer will be a great summer quencher.

Namaste was brewed with Leo from Birra del Borgo in Italy as a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who recently had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production!) at their brewery

On tap at Firefly Festival in Dover, DE. A fairly refreshing beer for a concert festival, but was completely overshadowed by the Firefly Ale. Guess that is to be expected when a beer is created for the event you are attending.

Bottle from Nick’s of Clinton. The beer is pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Ample effervescence apparent. The aroma offers malt, lemons, lemon zest, earthy hop scents, grass. Refreshing and light. Immediately, I think the body is too thin, though on the other hand, this adds to the thirst quenching on a hot day factor. Still, I’d prefer a slightly more robust feel. Mild bitterness in the finish. Floral hops and lemon grass with a dash of citrus, particularly lemons and oranges, respectively. Overall, a solid beer, but overpriced. $8.99 per sixer might inspire me to purchase this again, but for a 750 mL bottle, that’s asking too much, given the style.

Bomber dated 2012 (so maybe a bit past its prime) on sale for $6.30. Pours a light, hazy straw with an explosive white head that settles to a ring. Some sediment visible as you get toward the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is yeast, orange and lemon, grass, and coriander. A bit less pungent than other witbiers. Taste is light and refreshing with a good balance of spices and almost no bitterness. Light, frothy mouthfeel that could stand to be a bit thicker. Overall, this is decent, but like most DFH beers, it feels overpriced for what you’re getting.

Serving: 750 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy light gold with a pillowy white head. The nose is yeasty with a good bit of coriander, wheat, and something slightly herbal. Not as crisp on the tongue as I was hoping it would be. There is a good bit of citrus, grain, coriander, and that same weird herbal note. Light to medium body with average carbonation. It was okay, but not really my cup of beer.

Very light appearance. Whispy thin palate. Tastes of corn. Hardly can tell its a white wheat. Tastes more like adjunct mas produced garbage. had on tap at wob, maybe an issue.

Bottle. The aromatics on this are insane. It has real rich sweetness as well which married perfectly with the style.

Taste at Cedar Point. Pours a hazy hold with fluffy white head and some lace. Nose of spicy yeast, coriander, wheat, lemon, orange peel, faint lemongrass. Light to Medium body, decent spice, yeast and citrus flavors.

Aroma is yeast, various spices and a hint of heat. The flavor is citrus, lemons, wheat, malts, spices/mild heat and a tangy/tart finish.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly cloudy light gold with white head. Smells of wheat and yeast with a touch of lemon. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An easy drinker, but nothing more.
