COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander. This beer will be a great summer quencher. Namaste was brewed with Leo from Birra del Borgo in Italy as a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who recently had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production!) at their brewery

Taste at Cedar Point. Pours a hazy hold with fluffy white head and some lace. Nose of spicy yeast, coriander, wheat, lemon, orange peel, faint lemongrass. Light to Medium body, decent spice, yeast and citrus flavors.

Fantastic Wit, exactly what I modeled my homebrew Wit after. The bitter orange is perfect along with the subtle coriander spice notes. The lingering Belgian yeast is nice.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; rather subdued aroma; but much fuller flavour, with concentrated orange, yeast and coriander; and a dry floury finish. Not quite a typical Witbier, but a close approximation.

Pale almost ashy yellow, like they turned the saturation down on the colour wheel. Kind of the colour of a white wine... Barely even anything of watery/bubbly white head. I’m not getting much on the aroma either: almost smells like a grape must, though maybe just because now I have white wine on the mind. I suppose it’s probably the subtle lemongrass that I’m picking up with some of the body of the peppercorn, but not the edge. Again, not getting any of the advertised orange, but more a muted grassy fruit twinge, again likely the lemongrass taking the forefront. Don’t notice any pepper dash here, and only a vague bready note in the distance and a faint Belgian yeast at the finish, but that’s about it. Some might describe it as subtle, I am more inclined to be a little less forgiving and just say there’s not really that much going on. Surprisingly decent medium body, and a bit of a dry finish. I mean... it IS a beautiful sunny afternoon, which really seems to be the perfect venue for this beer. Though I feel like I should be in an airy white tent with cucumber sandwiches. Nope, just covered in insulation and watching the forest...

Pours a very pale yellow with a low white head. Aromas of lemongrass, citrus, coriander, spies, farmhouse. Taste is lemongrass, citrus, coriander, slight orange and musky notes. Mouthfeel is sprightly with medium carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2014 Pours a hazy yellow with a half a finger head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, and a hint of spice. Taste is similar with a little more spice coming through. Excellent Witbier, really enjoyed this. I am going to have to buy a few more six packs of this before I head home.

Pale golden colored body, medium to thin white head, sparse lacing. Lemongrass, lemon peel, orange zest, grainy cereals, assertive coriander. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation, semi-dry throughout, clean, crisp finish.

A beautiful aroma of citrus and spices, however hard to make out the corriander and peppercorn. Taste is similar to the aroma first strong citrus followed by hints of spice. Spices are not pronounced enough for my preference. Overall a very good beer for a summer day.
