A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander. This beer will be a great summer quencher.

Namaste was brewed with Leo from Birra del Borgo in Italy as a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who recently had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production!) at their brewery

Poured from a 22 oz. into a pint glass. Paired with Spicy Shrimp roll from Central Market. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with little to no head. Lots of bubbles coming off the bottom of the glass. Aroma is slightly citrusy with a moderate smell of the yeast. Light flavor that finishes quickly. Can taste the citrus and grassy notes along with the typical wheat taste associated with Witbiers. Carbonation is a little sharp but has no lingering bite. Pairs very well with the sushi. Both have a lighter taste, so they don’t overpower each other, but the spicy shrimp does have more of a lingering effect. The quick release of the beer allows you to still enjoy the spiciness of the sushi without interfereing.

Sampled on 6/19/2016. This witbier pours a golden yellow color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, yeasty and grassy. A medium bodied witbier. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and earthy. Nice carbonation. Nice lemongrass and citrusy flavors. Nice and dry as well. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a clear gold with light white head and carbonation. A faint grain and lemon aroma. A sweet citrus taste heavy with grains, wheat, yeast and spices. A lingering dry grain aftertaste.

Pleasant tasting. It’s been awhile since I actually rated a beer, so my pallette is kinda rusty. Very light even for the ABV. Tastes loosely belgian, but can tell it’s not truly from there. Looks like a bud light

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is wheat malt, an orange bitterness and yeast phenols. Flavor is a little less stellar than I thought it would be. Starts with you typical wit creamy wheat malt but none of the additions really stand out. Is this an ok wit? Sure but I was hoping for more of a wow moment with the orange and coriander.

330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Hazy light brown color. Sour, acidic, lemon, funky in aroma. Sweet, citrus, coriander, sweet oranges in taste. Sweet oranges and coriander in aftertaste. Nice balance in taste. Soft fizz on tongue. Bit watery. Drinkable brew.

355ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut!
Nice wheaty look, pale, but does have a good haze and a persistence to the head. Aroma’s pretty messed up, it’s sour, harsh, berlinner weisse, a hint of vinegar. Anna gets a hint of vomit in the aroma. Simple sweet wheaty body. Fullish and smooth. Kinda OK as a wheaty ale, more hefe than wit, once you overlook the horrible mess of the aroma.
