A Belgian-style White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander. This beer will be a great summer quencher.

Namaste was brewed with Leo from Birra del Borgo in Italy as a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who recently had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production!) at their brewery

Extremely carbonated, built up a big white foamy head that took a while to die down to drinkable levels. Pretty smooth, didnít overdo it on the orange or coriander, and still lots of yeasty tones. Nice change of pace, but Dogfish Head has better. Skeleton on bottle is too scary and gives me nightmares.

This is a pretty decent twist on a wit, albeit a touch on the heavy side for my liking. Itís cloudy orange w/ a small but very long lasting head of fine white bubbles. I get bananas up front but that quickly wanes to cloves, cinnamon and orange. This is a bit sweet which helps highlight the full body and the banana and orange notes but only slightly offset by tartness so overall this comes off as just a bit syrupy. Itís pretty drinkable regardless I just prefer this style to be well on the dry side. It finishes w/ some lingering spicy biterness and a touch of honey sweetness. Probably not my favorite wit but Iíd drink this again.

On tap at brewpub in Rehoboth Beach. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance had a hazy burnt orange color with a bar pourís kind of slim white head that left no lacing. The smell started off with a nice citrus to light breadiness. As it warmed, a light black pepper came about. The taste was mildly sweet with a nice underscore of the black pepper and brought in the breadiness to balance. A quick pepper/citrus aftertaste rolls into a balanced bready finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a super nice sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. Overall, I say this was a pretty good witbier that I would have again.

Aroma: Medium coriander, lemongrass, orange, Appearance: Slightly hazy gold body. Small white head. fine bubbles, good retention. Flavour: Medium zest, medium coriander, Dry finish with lingering tartness. Light vanilla. Medium-light sweetness, light bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Slight tongue covering. Overall: A great beer. The mouth-coating is a bit off-putting. Missing the normal cloudiness. 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Danie! 16A. Witbier

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, white head. Itís quite spiced and citrusy on the nose, with a papery maltyness. The flavor is lightly sweetish, with spiced notes, coriander and pale malts. Itís medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a bit too much sweetness. Lasting finish. Rather simple this one, but easy drinkable and quite nice. 150513

Bottle. Light golden with medium white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, fruit and yeasty esters. Light body, yeast notes, spices (corriander), fruity esters, and a dry finish. Reminds me more of a saison than a witbier.
