Gold pour, nice white head. Aroma of grapes, yeast, peaches, wheat, spice. Flavor is tart but not overly sour. Some white wine notes are there for sure, with some wheaty beer, yeasty goodness and the lightest touch of hops. Man this was tasty as hell!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Poured straw with a medium-sized white head. Aroma was very vinous, fruity, plus some grassy hops. Flavor was vinous, fruits and grapes, slightly musty with an intriguing earthy, yeasty presence quite different from any other beer I’ve had. Nice balance between the moderate sweetness and mild tartness. Finished pretty dry. Slightly thick palate. Tasted a whole lot like a pinot grigio! Good beer and something very different.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden yellow color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Sweet, slightly earthy aroma with funky yeast and earthy hops countered by bread, yeast, biscuity malt and light fruit. Light grapes, apple and alcohol.
Medium bodied with a good amount of earthy, musty funk that is overtaken by a strong, sweet vinous presence. Hints of grassy hops and funky yeast followed by prominent vinous grapes as well as some apple, pear and sweet booze. Not much heat though with a well masked abv. Just a bit too sweet for my liking and could use some more funk for balance. Decent but a bit one dimensional.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
THOUGHTS: Very wine like, yet you could tell it was still a bear. Nice experiment. Hid alcohol well. Not my favorite beer, but very interesting. It got a little more saison like as it warmed.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a crystal clear, light, pale yellow with beautiful carbonation and an average to large, white, head that kept a decent sheet and left excellent lacing. The aroma had light grain and wheat; light to moderate funky and musty yeast; grape; white wine; and some citrus. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, light to moderately acidic and lightly sour; while the finish was moderately sour and lightly acidic with a fairly short duration. There was white wine, tart grapes, slightly funky yeast, musty yeast, some citrus, and some wheat and grain. The light to medium body was very dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.
