Nice drink (even though I don’t drink wine), but tastes more like a fizzy wine or fizzy grape juice than beer. Looks and smells like wine too.

Would love to get this again. Very carbonated, champagne like. Sweet and pleasant. Very different but enjoyable. The grape and beer combo definitely works as shown here. Excited to see dogfish’s new wine-beer to be released.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yellow pour with a thin white head. Taste is dry, a hint of malt, and a grape aftertaste. Sweet and subtle. A nice beer, gives the impression of barrel aging with grape must.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear light golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of grapes/white wine, red berries, bubblegum, cereal and light banana. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of white wine, cereal and bubblegum. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Weird as hell, really a fusion between white wine and beer.

Stared at the bottle for a while when I came across it at the store. Pondered...really racked my brain about this one. Should I buy it? I’ve been so disappointed by everything DFH of late. Still, tickers do what tickers do. I picked it up. Lemon yellow pour with 10 karat edges and a wispy ivory crown. Nose of sour citrus, orange pith, musty grapes and day-old lawn shavings. Flavor is tart, earthy, and peppery with sharp fresh and grilled sweet lemon notes. Pretty unique...they got this one right! Pleasantly surprised!

Bottle. Pours a lively golden yellow with a nose of wet hay, musty wood, light champagne grape juice, and moldy attic air. Flavor is wet and must straw left in an attic in the autumn on a bed of sweetened grape leaves and light lemon peel. Decent mouthfeel. Good stuff.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Drank in snifter glass poured from bomber. Aroma- solid saison smell with a bit of lemon. Appearance- pale in color. Similiar to a blah pilsner. Taste- exactly what i expected. Half pinot grigio and half typical saison with some champagne kick. Very drinkable. Palate- a little more alcohol and lemon. Very good. Overall- very good. A little different. Outside the siason box but really good.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a golden body with a thumbnail of off-white head. Tight curtains of lace. Soapy yeast and subtle plum on the nose. Definite dark fruits like grape in the mouthfeel. All-around flavors of grain, biscuit, and more dusty yeast. Champagne-like. Medium carbonation and light body. Very refreshing yet uncompromising to flavor. Another experimental triumph from DFH!
