Good beer to share,n much like a champagne with less carbonation, it contains some of the characteristics of a dry Saison but the sweetness of the grapes rounds it out. Good to try, might buy it again if I see it but would need seek it out

One of my favorites. A definite taste of grape and a light look to it. Dogfish always has interesting take on new beers and this is no different.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A perfect mix between beer and wine. The liquid is gold and thick. Noble to the eye, you can expect a lot of body and smoothness from the beer. Nose is winey. A lot of grapes, sugar, alcohol as well. The taste and the mouthfeel go perfectly together and cannot be treated separatly. The slightly buttery palate we usually find in Chardonnay wines is present in this beer and mixes just right with this almost sparkling wine carbonation that adds a unique mineral and refreshing mouthfeel. I simply love this! Can be enjoyed as an apéritif or as a substitute to the glass of wine you would have with a nice fish plate!

UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Saison really shows through. The grapes aren?t as prevalent as I had hoped for. Very good but wished they had charged a little less. Bottle

Very interesting beer. Dfh certainly brews outside the box. Pours a golden color with minimal head. Aroma of earth and grapes. Taste like a white wine. Carbonated mouth feel. Nice change of pace

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On the sixth day of Christmas 2014. Pours gold with a slight haze. Medium fluffy white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is grapes, earthy, with a lot of white wine characteristics. Taste is tart and sweet with a crisp drying finish. Medium bodied, good carbonation that provides a lively mouth feel and overall very enjoyable.

A truly unique drink that actually made me remember why I used to love dfh. Aroma is tons of grape, slight funk, light floral yeasty notes. Taste is like an interesting carbonated wine with light maltiness to differentiate it a bit. Really enjoyed drinking this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Blonde bodied with a thin, but resilient head. Nose of stone fruit and red wine grapes. Belgian blonde yeast flavors with modest phenols, a touch of pepper and close, wash over a thin grape lining. The pepper lingers pleasantly on the palate. Light, almost watery, but not watered down. A crisp, vivacious drink.
