3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grapes with some wheat and spice notes. The flavor is more of the same with some tart muscat grape character, wheat and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A beer-wine hybrid. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a light golden color in the glass. Winey aroma like a chardonnay and a bit funky like old stale wine. Slight champagne flavors like a demi-sec. overall, tastes much better than it smells. Tasty... Thanks to BarZigKin for the hook up!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a pale yellow with absolutely no head. Very light carbonation. Floral, fruit nose. Taste was more like wine than beer - in fact, it reminded me of Conundrum with some carbonation. It was ok and I like experimentation, but I will just drink wine if I wanted something like this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light straw-colored beer with a medium white head that settles rather quickly. Nose is somewhat sour with some musky odors that are quite unique. The flavor is a little sour initially and then gives way to a rich semi-sweet, acidic aftertaste that really sets off your taste buds. Then, a bit of bitterness hits from the hops to complete the layers of flavor. This is a surprisingly complex beer that progresses in flavor more than most. Good if you’re in the mood for something different.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is floral hop, funk, and grape skin. Thin mouthfeel with a strong grape flavor and bready malt with wine flavor in the finish. Easy to drink hiding alcohol well, a very good fruit beer from Dogfish Head.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This 750 capped bottle was from Costco in Eureka, CA. Pours bright gold with a robust and foamy white head that left a big lacing ring at the top of the glass. Nose is earthy and it would seem brett. Full body. Great clean and easy to drink mouth feel. Flavor is full of citrus and is almost moldy which I guess explains the "rot". The finish is spicy and the taste buds tingle. Dogfish Head has done some really innovative beers over the years. This one is at the head of the class. What an amazing brew.

The yeast adds a nice saison feel to this beer, but there’s so much more to it. Grapes, apricot, honey are all present. Some Viognier similarities as well. Alcohol is well hidden. Neat.

fairly clear brew with a yellow colour. grape must aroma and a real cat piss note and honey suckle with a roasted grain note. grapejuice flavour tart and reminiscent of an un-finished wine. very interesting.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is grapes, citrus, pears, peaches. Slightly soured, but not sour really. Nice tart grape, very little malts. Interesting, it works in the warm weather though.
