3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle at Ft Wayne tasting Sep 14 2013 - The aroma of this brew is mainly grapes along with some Belgian style yeast. Itís a light straw color with a small, white fuzzy head. The flavor is very interesting. Itís lightly sweet, bubbly, and has tart grapes. Thereís a dry character that carries into the finish. Itís very easy to drink. Quite good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pleasant spicy white wine on the nose. Flavor is really just a Belgian golden with wine sweetness and a just a touch of dust. Was hoping for more funk and less sweet. Not impressed!

From bottle at Royal Oak Craft Beer Fest. Funk nose. Almost wine-like taste. Beautiful sourness at beginning of sip.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pours clear yellow with one finger bubbly white head. Saison-like aroma with Belgian yeast, light fruits, grapes. Taste matches with vinous notes, grapes, bread, slightly tart. Palate full. Clean finish, doesnít descend into the dull astringent finish as you sometimes find in beers of similar flavor. Didnít notice the hops at all. Didnít know what to expect but I liked it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Super carbonated, a nice small bubble head, that lasted for a few minutes, then settles to a thin coating on top that get replenished from below, wonderful lacing. The nose is tart and citrusy with a bit of farmhouse in there. Front is pils and tart grape with a wonderful long lasting tartish hop finish. There is a hint of lemony wheat beer that went to a really great french bistro for a while in the middle. Not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be. An unbelievably quaffable brew, I am having a hard time not gulping this down. Each sip demands another.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap pour - comes to table a clear yellow with no real head to speak of. Aroma is tart, but citrusy - lemon, hint of bittering hops, white wine like. Flavor is, well, interesting, but quite good! Starts off with some generalized sweetness, but quickly turns into an amalgamation of all sorts of styles - the saison aspect is most forward - very dry flavor with spices and a yeasty feel, but thereís also an underlying hoppiness, and an almost berliner-like tartness/dryness to the flavor. Palate is dry, but keeps you coming back for more. I really dug this beer, and although I donít feel it really conforms to the ífruit beerí style, would seek this one out again - exceeded expectations!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle served in a pint glass
A - Pours a pale shiny yellow with a thin white cap.
S - Earthy, spoiled grapes, minerals, dry yeast, salty,
T - Sweeter than the nose describes, crisp white grape juice, has a soft lemon tartness to it along with a dash of salt. Peppery yeast and earthy minerals in the middle along with some herbal hops adds dryness and continues to a dull grape tartness on the finish.
M - Moderate spritzy carbonation, creamy at first but thins out quickly. Dry finish.
An odd beer for sure. Like a white wine and beer mixer. It has snappiness upfront but develops into a dull chardonnay like finish. I canít believe that this is 9%ABV! It doesnít show at all. It was unique but I didnít love it as much as I thought I would.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the tap in to a 10oz Tulip glass at Samís QuickStop in Durham, NC. Pours the color if hay, with a thin white head that lasts, and leaves beautifully patterned lacings on the glass. Aroma brings thoughts of white wine/champagne, peaches. Taste brings a citrusy white wine, honey in the middle, and tender tartening on the back end. Mouth feel is tight bubbles and lingering tingle. Really enjoyed this.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale gold with slight haze and white head. Nose is saison-like with powdery yeast, light fruit esters, white grape, and wet wheat/hay. Flavor is lightly sweet white grape with moderately dry pinot-like finish with yeast and light fruitiness. Light and dry with residual pinot. Quite nice.
