750 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale straw gold with a thin fizzy white head that was gone by the first sip and left no lace. Pleasant aroma of grape and yeast. The description on the bottle calls this a "sort of Saison", but I thought it looked and tasted more like a Berlinner Weisse. The flavor is pale malt, grapes, yeast, mild sourness, and a touch of mild funk. Very nice! Spritzy on the palate. Light in body. Enjoyable.

18-MAY-2014, bottle @home, from Whole Foods, P Street, Georgetown. Clear golden with lacing White head. Aroma is yeast, spice, and grapes. Fantastic taste. Funk, straw, grapes, fruit. Very sauternes-like .Dry but clearly also sweet. So long aftertaste of all the fruity/spicy/funky stuff. Noble rot is evident. I really enjoyed this.

[Tap] Clear golden pour with a small cap of head on top. Vinous aroma is mainly of white grapes. Tart white wine and green apple in the taste. Dry finish. Lively carbonation. It’s OK I guess.

chucklemation (800) - Pontiac, Michigan, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Pours a clear golden yellow, with lots of fizzy bubbles, and a foamy white head. Has a fruit and skunk aroma. Flavor is much more interesting. There’s plenty of carbonation and tart white grape to give this a strong wine character. Has a medium body feel. Very nicely done.

This pours a clear, light yellow color with a slight, white head. The aroma is slightly tart and full of grapes. The taste is strong in flavor and drinks very much like a carbonated wine. This is a very unique take on the fruit beer category. Makes for great sipping beer that pairs well with lots wine based foods.

Aroma is a little on the funky side like fruit and skunky but to be expected from the noble rot fungus.appearance is golden in hue with good carbonation.taste sweet and sour like a saison or farmhouse beer.very different and worth the higher price of this unique wine beer hybrid.

Paid $11.89 for a 750 ml bottle at One Stop Market back in March 2013. Bottle to snifter shows me a bright clear gold color with fast dissipating white head. I also had this on draft back in Mar 13 but wanted it on a clean palate. A whole lot of waiting for no reason. Aroma has a white grapes, musty wheat and a touch of rotten wood.

Flavor of is almost that of a watered down white wine. Mostly all white grapes that reminds me of Riesling or a white table wine that is carbonated. Body is thin leaning on medium with average carbonation. The finish has sweet vinous notes linger on the end. Yeah, it’s ok if you want to try and get your wife or girlfriend drinking craft beer. I see this as another novelty beer from DFH. Very drinkable if you happen to love white wine.

Bottle, shared at Big Grove Tavern, Champaign. Clear bright yellow with a fading white head. Sweet grape juice and grains aroma. Grainy, estery palate, with grape juice tartness and light funk, subtle. Briskly carbonated.
