Poured from a 750ml bottle hazy straw color, thin white head. Smell is sharp with white wine aromatics. Taste is a great balance of Belgian phenolics and white wine, light body lively carbonation makes the finish pretty dry. Really nice beer.

bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. pours hazy very pale yellow with a small yet reviving white cap, nice lacing. white grapes, white wine, dusty and spicy yeastiness, pepper, wheaty, but also pale slightly doughy cereals, low and plesant phenolic esters, grassy and citrusy - subtle yet assertive. lively to average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, slightly tingling, astringent and relatively dry grassy-peppery-spicy finish.

Beer with an acidic grape bite. I like the aged white wine flavor on the palate. I also got a really good deal on a +1pt at jungle Jim's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[5384-20130524] 1pt9.4floz bottle. Grainy herbal rotten fruit aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Lightly smoked straw grains flavour has a bit of a tart petrol aftertaste. Medium body. Not a fan. (5/3/5/3/7) 2.3

Transfer from BA on 2-26-12 - Served in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Served a sparkling clear straw gold color with a light head. The head faded very fast leaving just a slight film on the top of the beer and a very mild amount of lacing on the glass. Smell – Smell of grapes and a bit of sourness meet the nose. There is some yeastiness that mixes in as well. Taste- The taste starts out a little bit sweeter; like a sweet white wine; Moscato like. They consist mainly of grape flavors mixed with a bit of lemony citrus and some other lighter fruit flavors. As the taste progresses it gets a bit more sour and bitter and turns more dry white wine like. Mouthfeel – Rather thin body with a moderate level of carbonation. Very white wine like and fitting for the taste profile of the brew. Overall – It was an alright beer, but a bit too much on the side of wine. If I want wine I will drink wine thanks.

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale straw gold with a thin fizzy white head that was gone by the first sip and left no lace. Pleasant aroma of grape and yeast. The deScription on the bottle calls this a "sort of Saison", but I thought it looked and tasted more like a Berlinner Weisse. The flavor is pale malt, grapes, yeast, mild sourness, and a touch of mild funk. Very nice! Spritzy on the palate. Light in body. Enjoyable.

18-MAY-2014, bottle @home, from Whole Foods, P Street, Georgetown. Clear golden with lacing White head. Aroma is yeast, spice, and grapes. Fantastic taste. Funk, straw, grapes, fruit. Very sauternes-like .Dry but clearly also sweet. So long aftertaste of all the fruity/spicy/funky stuff. Noble rot is evident. I really enjoyed this.
