You can really taste the wine tones in this beer. It has quite a unique flavor blend of spice and sweetness. Decent sipping beer, but not something I’d want to drink regularly.

On tap poured a clear golden hue w/ thin white head and pretty lacing. Moderate to bold sweet straw and grape aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a light sour finish. Tastes are a blend of a Pils, white wine and champaign. Light bodied and hides the warmth well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tmoreau (2288) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Shared 750 ml. bottle, poured to snifters, showing a hazed, light gold, almost straw color, with a wispy layer of white head froth, and spots & strands of clingy lacing. The nose was musty yeast, light grain, and the presence of lemon, and dry, white wine/vinous hints. Light bodied, with lively carbonation, lightly sweet & tart, with very hidden alcohol. Perky & refreshing.

Bottle. Light clear yellow golden pour with a quickly dissipating white head. Grape, citrus, leather, oak, beef jerky, spice. Spicy carbonation with citrus acidity and slight sweetness in a medium body. Perfect drink on a warm humid day

Rated on 02-28-2013 at DFH Brewpub, Redobeth Beach, DE. This draft ber pours a small white head that mostly diminishes, transparent body, very little visible carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is grapes, wheat and yeast. The flavor is tart, sweet, grapes, and has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is very quaffable, somewhat complex overall and worth trying.

Poured from a 750ml bottle hazy straw color, thin white head. Smell is sharp with white wine aromatics. Taste is a great balance of Belgian phenolics and white wine, light body lively carbonation makes the finish pretty dry. Really nice beer.

Beer with an acidic grape bite. I like the aged white wine flavor on the palate. I also got a really good deal on a +1pt at jungle Jim's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
