4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Deep golden colour, no head. Sweet and vastly malty. Sugary, but that does not disturb. Enough hops to overpower the sweetness. Bitter finish. Very enjoyable.
There is no way I could guess tthis beer was 15%.

9th December 2008. Very hazy orange amber beer. Low carbonation. Intense sweet porty notes followed by sweet toffee, a little spice and a very light touch of hop. A little licorice in the warming finish. Delicious and way too drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy amber color; creamy head. In the very beginning there is a woody aroma, with very light sourness, but disappears quickly; then there is only some caramel left. Good body strength, sweet caramel flavor, but the alcohol is too strong. Not my favorite.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2007 bottle at DFH Rehoboth Beach, on the same day that Roy Rogers’ horse Trigger and his German Shepherd (both stuffed, of course) were sold at auction to some guy who owns a radio station. Our dessert beer. Golden copper color, off white head, scant lacing. Aroma of caramel, white wine, brandy. Taste of alcohol up front, candied caramel apples, vanilla. Very tasty.
