4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I am vary suprised, more of a porter than a brown ale. Vary rich color dark brown to black, it has more of a porter quality IMO vary drinkable no alcohol taste, will buy this one again.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Black color with dark tan head and minimal lacing. Chocolate aroma. Chocolate flavor with slight alcohol in the finish. Heavy mouthfeel and consistency. Overall, more characteristic of a porter or stout than a brown ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a medium sized dark brown head. Malty nose with some chocolate, wood, brown sugar. Flavour has quite some barrel with cedar like notes coming through. Also cocoa, brown sugar, dark dried fruits, vanilla, light charcoal, Full body, warming alcohol, soft carbonation, some sweetness but balanced by bitterness and alcohol. Just short of being over the top for my taste, I like this ok as a sipper; the alkiehol isn’t too aggressive and the mouthfeel is fairly soft.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black pour, khaki head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and oak. Taste is chocolate, coffee and wood pulp. Very thick and oily. Palo Santo wood adds nice backbone to complex flavors. Very good and well built beer.

Une brown ale avec un arome enorme de fruit cuit’ on dirait une biere vieillie dans un fut de porto ou madere.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle. Black pour. Thin tan head. Big aroma of coffee chocolate vanilla oak dark fruit. Complex taste of all those. Rich but not too sweet lovely smooth mouthfeel. Handles the 12% alcohol very well with just a nice back if throat warmth. It is up there with the best.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy amber with a little sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are tropical fruit, grapefruit, and pine - with a bitter finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
No light getting through this dark, thick beer. One finger thick light-brown head formed then dissipated with virtually no lacing along the glass.
The body of this brew is almost like that of a stout. Smells of some chocolate, molasses, some sweet dark malts, nuts, possibly caramel, and of course of vanilla.
Truly divine flavor and taste of coffee, chocolate, caramel, molasses, toffee, dried fruits and vanilla.
This slick, smooth, mouth feel may be quite possibly amazing amongst the subtle carbonation.
Overall, this was an awesome concoction that I cannot wait to savor again! Stored a couple away for next time. Highly recommended!!!
