First off after opening the bottle I noticed the sweet ginger aroma that was not overwhelming but very present along with a nice yeast and malt scent. The flavor iS smooth, the head was thin, and the silkiness lingers on with the presence of ginger and honey. Overall a good drink that I wanted to buy more of. unclemattie (2447), Georgia, USA

Golden color. Nice fizz.
Crystalized ginger throughout to the finish. TheElder (49), DeSoto, Wisconsin, USA

It poured the truest orange I can describe, with a little beige head. It doesn’t move around on the palate much but for initial tastes I get honey and spice. It reminds me of the innards of a cinnamon roll. Great. bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Its amazing that Sam got one ingredient from every continent. The aroma is good, apperance is a lighter shade of amber, and again, the flavor is amazing, amazing as in its so much and everytime you sip it, its like a new flavor is introduced to me. trayns (242), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Pours a robust brown color, with an amber glare and white head. Aroma is big spice fruit notes and molasses. Taste is very nice, and different. A lot of flavors of the ginger and spiced fruits, and molasses. A very complex and enjoyable drinking beer. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 20, 2006 Chilled 750ml corked bottle: Pours a cloudy pale orange with mega-floaties, and has a decent sized ivory head which slowly dissipates to white bubbles mostly around the edges. Aroma is of grass, yeast, flowers and lemon. Extremely carbonated. Very fizzy on the tongue; like champagne. Taste is of sharp yeast and spice with light fruits. Sweet with barely a hint of bitterness. Ending is of light malt flavor. branspra (249), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a darker yellow color with a medium sized, white head. Excellent lacing and aromas of spruce, plum, and spices. Creamy texture with a medium body. Taste like Christmas, although I know it isn’t necessarily a Christmas or Winter beer. The spruce makes it feel like Christmas in a bottle, much more than other beers during this time. Highly recommended. mhack1128 (15), gainesville, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 17, 2006 beer is not the most flavorful, its not the best of anything out there, but it is the best beer i have found that tastes like an every day beer. most beers that rate high are too good or too full of flavor to be drinking it everyday. everyone needs that beer that they ca have when they get home and not think too much about, that is this beer. and compared to any other beer i would ever consider in that category, this is a dang good beer
