Acknud (592), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jun 14, 2008 Not a bad amber beer overall. The ginger really comes through on the nose and tongue. I think it would be a better winter beer than now.
Swolf3 (30), Elkton, Maryland, USA Sep 2, 2008 Poured amber in color with not a lot of head. aroma was of ginger, yeast, and fruits. Taste was ginger, spices, and a hint of alcohol in the end. Tasty! GMCC2181 (366), Bear, Delaware, USA Sep 2, 2008 Bottle shared by swolf3. Thanks wolf. Amber in color, small head. Funky aroma of ginger and spicy floral notes. Taste is about the same, ginger, yeasty, spicy and earthy. Average texture and carbonation. Decent beer. Unique, that is for sure. ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 31, 2008 Dark amber pour with a short lived creamy head. Ginger on the nose. Interesting and complex flavor. Orange, ginger, nuts, and honey Zinister (877), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 22, 2008 Draft at Flying Saucer Houston. Amber golden color with a thin white rimmed head. Nose of ginger, belgian yeasts and floral notes. Flavor is a sweet tripel with just a hint of ginger and spices. Medium bodied and sweet, but not cloying. One of the nicer spiced beers I’ve had. jujubeast6000 (484), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 17, 2008 (Draft at FS, Hou): Pours a very cloudy fizzy light brown body. Creamy white head, good lacing & lasting. Fruity, almost belgian aroma. Some malts, some kind of nut, like a walnut. Nutty taste, spice, nutmeg maybe? Some ginger. Some honey.
