3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clean orange color with a modest white, creamy head to top it off. Nose has a fruity orange citrus with some light grape with a light, clean Belgian yeasty ester kick and some light sweet malt tones. Flavor starts off with a sweet white wine kick with a light acidic kick and some very, very light peppery spice notes. Body is light with a slight oily feeling. Overall its kinda bland. The nose was okay but the flavor fell a bit flat as it died pretty quickly after the initial kick. A meh beer in my opinion as I expected a little more from a special beer put out by DFH.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a clear amber color with a white head. The aroma was of moderate fruit with yeast and soft hops. It had a medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. The taste was medium sweet fruit with a nice sweet finish of moderate duration. A refreshing fruit beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Gold with white head. Aroma is sweet hay/straw and dark fruit. Favor is the same with a strong dark fruit / currant finish. Interesting and worth a try, but not something I’d regularly seek.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750mL bottle. Split with my wife on 10-24-12
A: Clear gold with a fading white head. No legs.
N: Fruity and sweet. Currants and plenty of pilsner type malt. Some floral elements. White grape and green apple.
T: Very pilsner like again, but that’s not what I’d expect from a Belgian golden. Yeasty. The currents and grape are somewhat distant. Biscuity. Really, this doesn’t have enough of the fruit evident in the nose.
M: Very light, but very sharply carbonated. Alcohol is well-hidden.
O: It’s decent and worth a try if you have someone to split it with, but it would have benefited from more body and more currant.

I like pearl jam and I hate their beer. This is a weird macro tasting beer that should be called MGD Grape. Not good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2012-09-16. Crisp dark yellow body, nice white head and lace. 3+ Sweet pale malt aroma, lightly fruity, sweet floral notes, biscuity malt. 6+ Flavor is similar, sweet pale malt, with fruit and bready malt character, very lightly tart in the finish. Very smooth medium bodied palate. 3+ Okay, a bit dull, bit grainy as it warms. The alcohol is fairly restrained. Just okay, I much preferred the album. Bottle has a few months in the cellar, Trade with josefiak

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Secret Santa. Blonde with a purple haze. Blackcurrant in the aroma. Malty sweetish, just a bit alcoholic and perfumed flavor with blackcurrant notes Sweetish, a bit sticky. Pearl Jam deserves a better tribute.
