3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear gold color with a large white head. The nose has a bit of grain and berry to it. The flavor reminds me of a grainy blonde ale with a slight currant and berry undertone. Not particularly remarkable. Light in body with higher carbonation. I donít get the Belgian influence or much from the currants.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clean orange color with a modest white, creamy head to top it off. Nose has a fruity orange citrus with some light grape with a light, clean Belgian yeasty ester kick and some light sweet malt tones. Flavor starts off with a sweet white wine kick with a light acidic kick and some very, very light peppery spice notes. Body is light with a slight oily feeling. Overall its kinda bland. The nose was okay but the flavor fell a bit flat as it died pretty quickly after the initial kick. A meh beer in my opinion as I expected a little more from a special beer put out by DFH.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Gold with white head. Aroma is sweet hay/straw and dark fruit. Favor is the same with a strong dark fruit / currant finish. Interesting and worth a try, but not something Iíd regularly seek.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750mL bottle. Split with my wife on 10-24-12
A: Clear gold with a fading white head. No legs.
N: Fruity and sweet. Currants and plenty of pilsner type malt. Some floral elements. White grape and green apple.
T: Very pilsner like again, but thatís not what Iíd expect from a Belgian golden. Yeasty. The currents and grape are somewhat distant. Biscuity. Really, this doesnít have enough of the fruit evident in the nose.
M: Very light, but very sharply carbonated. Alcohol is well-hidden.
O: Itís decent and worth a try if you have someone to split it with, but it would have benefited from more body and more currant.
