3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared at the Craft Beer Co. - Clerkenwell, London, many thanks to Mike! Pours clear, yellow-gold with a good and sturdy white foam head. Lots going on in the nose, herbs and spices, coriander, doughy wheat, yeast. Medium to big sweet flavor with heavy wheat and yeast, faint lemon, white sugar. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with lots of sugary dough, yeast, white bread. Itís tasty stuff, if a bit sweet.

Bottle from Wegmans Sterling - pours a clear orange with a finger of white head. Aroma is complex, wheaty, funky, apple, lemon grass, and seriously some spaghetti notes - oregano? Taste is sweet, with a sour tart bite, but itís nowhere near lambic sour, for folks who like that. Overall, very nice!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It's been three years since I graduated from the Handsome Boy Modeling School. And this beer's poured from a 750 into a Duvel Snifter. Pours a light yellow with light head and smooth white lacing. Fruity, spicy, Belgian aroma. Mouthfeel is ridiculously light for a 9%. Taste is Saison with lemon yeast bubblegum spice mild pine and pith. I was worried this would be too spiced but it was subdued and well blended. Too expensive to drink regularly but pretty good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Westmeisterís Birthday Beer Tasting Extravaganza Beer #3. This was the beer where the casual drinkerís started asking, "wait, this is beer?" Poured the color of commercial bread crust. Alcohol and passion fruit were all over the nose. There was enough bitterness in the flavor to balance out the fruity sweetness. Very fizzy with a smooth finish. Bottle - Source Unknown

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Pours cloudy cantaloupe with a medium collapsing off-white big-bubbly head. Aroma consists of apples, Belgian yeast. Description up there says this is loosely based on the witbier style, but that is the dominant flavor, even over the cider. Itís sweet, savory, lightly tart, finishing dry. The cayenne is very light, only barely revealing itself in the finish, providing a little heat. Iím not getting the cilantro, and I donít know what farro tastes like, so I couldnít tell you if itís in there or not. Alcohol is almost completely hidden. Itís hard to believe this is 9%. Carbonation is fine, body a little thin. Overall, a good, not great beer. I wish the cayenne and cilantro were more prominent.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The most notable thing here is the spicy finish. It's warm and complements the lighter flavor of the rest of the beer very well. It's flavorful, but doesn't go out of it's way to be an experience outside of the transition from the light fruit hints to the spice at the finish. All in all a good one trick beer that I would drink again any time. Good for all occassions.

Bottle pour clear yellow with champagne bubbles. Nose of clove, spice, caramel malt ,and esters. Taste the same, with some early sweetness. The ending is a little weird, earthy, mineral, then bitter. Didnít get the cilantro or cider. Very saison like.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at craft ale house. Pours semi clear yellow with a big white, fluffy head. There is solid Retention. The aroma has a nice belgian yeast aroma worth some lemon and spice. Very Saison like. The taste had some citrusy lemon and orange up front followed by some spicy pepper and a less dry than expected finish. Nice.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 4/20
Aroma of spice with hints of fruit. Pours a light clear yellow with mostly lasting white head and moderate laciing. The taste starts out like a Hefe, then spice kicks in and then goes to a grainy blandness, with more spice, and hints of apple in the finish and aftertaste. Medium-light body and soft carbonatin. Overall, glad I tried it, but I wonít try it again.
