bottle. Considering the fact that I pour out 3/4 of every dfh beer I buy, these things are really expensive. Consistently terrible brews. No good.

Bottled (big thanks PilsnerPeter!). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is spices, hops and that’s about it. Flabvour is brown xmas cookies, some slight acidic fruityness as well as spices. As it warms up lots of pumpkin and spices, which also dominate the aftertaste. A very Christmassy beer, though not "made exclusively" for that season.

Pours a crystal clear dark orange or light amber with no head. Very low carbonation. Aroma is maple candy, cinnamon, nutmeg. Taste is less spicy and more earthy/herbal with a big slam of pumpkin seed, brown sugar, and hop resin in the beginning. Little touch of warming, spicy alcohol in the beginning as well. Mouthfeel is a little buttery. Aftertaste is roasted pumpkin seed. Overall nicely balanced wit the hops and thus not too sweet. Best pumpkin ale I have ever tried- but I’m not sure if that is saying much.

Bottle from bottle barn. Golden brown with a fizzy head. Sweet spicy aroma and taste with a nice strong nutmeg taste.

11/13/08 notes: bottle. Pours orange with little head. Aroma rich with spice and malt. Flavor profile matches spices, with nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon, just like the aroma. This is definitely a crafted offering, with a distinct flavor that was well-intended. However, quite strangely, I just couldn’t find anything “catchy” about this beer. It had a flavor that was tasty, yet not attractive, flavorful without being something I would want seconds of. Was it because this was overdone?

A nicely balanced pumpkin, just the right amount of spices and pumpkin coming through. Not overwhelming like some...

fluffy head, with a very strong sent of pumpkin and spices, could smell it across the room. the color is a light clear brown color with amber in it, the taste is sweet, with spices and some pumpkin. I really dont like the aftertaste this gives you, and it lingers.
