I just moved and have no pint glasses, so I’m currently drinking this out of the bottle. However, it gives off a nice scent of cinnamon and brown sugar. The taste is of a nutty ale with a nice touch of pumpkin spice and cinnamon. Great beer by a great brewery.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with a big, persistent, creamy off-white head that never completely goes away. Nose is nutmeg and cinnamon, a bit of floral hops underneath. Taste is heavy on the spices - nutmeg and cinnamon, underlying bed of sweet caramel malt with a hint of brown sugar, a wee bit of floral hops underneath to balance. Spices tend to get a bit bigger towards the finish, where a bit of yeast emerges to complement the whole ensemble. Kind of a hard to sort out beer, pumpkin never really comes out so much as the complementary spices do, but it’s always there underneath as well. Mouthfeel is middle of the road - reserved carbonation and a medium body.

Bottle. Pours with a copper color, does not seem like abrown ale to me. Aromas are surprisingly subdued. Perhaps a whiff of allspice and pumpkin. The beer tsrats out tame but then builds up. Most porminent is a gingerbread component together with cinnamon. Not so much pumpkin. When it warms up it becomes more overpowering, but not bad.

Clear amber color with a thin off white head that dissipates. Spicy aromas, cinnamon, nutmeg. Tastes of holiday spices, nutmeg and cloves. Sweet and malty underneath finally a beer that reminds me of pumpkin pie.

Aroma - notes of holiday spices (cloves, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, and alcohol) The appearance is a dark orange amber with an initial white head dissipating into a thin white collar Flavor is a lot of spiced alcohol with cinnamon dominating, some allspice, nutmeg and a heavy dose of clove. Palate feel is a bit too powerful, but also part of the feel, a lot of alcohol burn, a real body warmer.

A - pumpkin spice with a strong nutmeg aroma, some bitterness
T - strong nutmeg flavor that dissolves into a bit of a pumpkin spice and then roars back with nutmeg
P - light, very bubbly body but with a full taste

What can I say? Dogfish head comes through again. Has a small pumpkin flavor blended nicely with hops. Not much of an aftertaste which is always pleasant. I’m starting to become a fan of this brewery.
