The pumpkin isn’t as well distributed as I would expect. Cinnamon and nutmeg hold a great deal of share when you sit back and enjoy this brew. Good cider like aroma with a solid orange color. Would drink another 4 pk before this goes out of season awiseman01 (342), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Lots of cinnamon and spice. Tastes like drinking pumpkin pie filling, just not as thick. one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had.
On tap at Stone ƙ/21/09). Pours clear/golder with thin fading head. Lots of spice on the nose but no pumpkin yet. Nice carbonated spicy, pumpkin taste with a sweet, clean finish. Totally Wonderful!!! TheSponge (276), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 23, 2008 12 oz. bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA. Pours a dark orange color with an off-white head. Aroma: Pumpkin (duh), brown sugar, cinnamon, and spices. Flavor: The same as the aromas, perfectly balanced...not too heavy with the pumpkin as with other pumpkin ales. In other words, excellent. BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Orange/tan in color. Nice head and carbonation. Flavors are sugar and spice, nutmeg and light cinnamon--good aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Not the best pumpkin ale, but by far not the worst. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Interesting. I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t get it again. Pours a normal copper-amber, with a good-sized head and good retention. Aroma is just odd - take raison d’etre and add old pumpkin pie to it. Not a smell I’d call intriguing or appetizing. The flavor definitely has pumpkin, along with pie spices - but it just doesn’t go. It’s like someone dropped a small spoonful of pumpkin pie batter in a normal beer and stirred. The palate is perfectly agreeable, but I can’t think of a good use for this brew. Hophead22 (1087), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a medium gold, white head. Smell a lot of allspice, very holidayish. Taste is allspice as well, not a fav. TheOrange (405), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Pour is deep amber with a small white head. The aroma is mostly clove and cinnamon that usually dominate pumpkin flavored beers. The flavor actually has a definite pumpkin flavor with is nice. The spice is not too strong, but still very noticeable. The malt is the dominate **beer** flavor, sweet and almost caramelly. Med body, decent offering from a great brewer.
