Draft @ Capones: Poured an orange color with medium head. The aroma was cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. The flavor was a tad thick, spicy and reminded me more of a christmas beer than a pumkin beer. Overall, very tasty.

Aroma is really nice, lures you in, really smell the pumpkin/spice. Dark, rich orange/brown base, lighter medium thickmess head. Bitter taste, nutty aftertaste. Goes down smooth, fairly thick.

Pours clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma was dominated by allspice and nutmeg and was decidedly non-pumpkiny. Flavor was spicy and malty. The spice flavor, however, is powdery and dry rather than integrated into the overall taste. I wish it had more of a pumpkin base, but it’s really more about the spice profile. Body could be a little bolder, but it’s otherwise okay. Still searching for a pumpkin seasonal that fits my ideal for the style...

Alright so I had to even criticize this one because it really smells and tastes great. Pours a dark coppery color with no haze whatsoever. It smells and tastes just like a pumpkin pie and is delicious--no doubt about it. HOWEVER, I really wish that the thing would have a heavier body. It felt pretty thin in the mouth and going down, and I really like a holiday/spiced ale that you’ve gotta chew on. If they could do this without jeopardizing any other features of the brew, it would be perfect. Delicious nonetheless though and I’ll definitely have it again!

Pours copperish, off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices that usually come with such beers; cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste, pumpkin, good amount of spices and sugary malts. The pumpkin stays very enjoyable and on the low side. The malt and sugar really come to the forefront, followed by the pumpkin, covered with the tingly touch of the spices (mostly cinnamon). Very drinkable, has a good kick to it and a good abv.

Pours orange red with a thin white head. Aroma of noticeable cinnamon and nutmeg aromas with a malty wheat component as well. Great cinnamon and spice flavor. Only a slight hint of pumpkin. A unique and enjoyable brew, but something is slightly out of balance.

Pours a dark orange amber with little off-white head. Almost barley wine like aroma, but less sweet caramel and more herbal spicy scents. Heavily spiced beer. Not much sweetness at all. I taste cinnamon, nutmeg, and not pumpkin directly but definitely an over-riding vegetal taste. Very smooth and crisp. Pretty enjoyable actually.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber color with a light white head. Hints of nutmeg and slightly sugary, primarily a malty aroma and taste. Perhaps expected more of a hoppy/ale flavor and texture. Light to medium bodied. The spices are pretty muted. Not bad for a change of pace.
