12 oz bottle. Pours orange/amber with off-white head. Minimal lacing. Smells like fall spices, brown sugar mostly. The smell is fairly distinctive, but upon tasting, all flavor seems to disappear!? Strange, quite tasteless, watery finish. First foray into this type of beer, and I’m disappointed.

Draft at Buffalo Brewfest. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Spicy aroma with nutmeg and clove. Flavor is much the same, pumpkin spices like clove and nutmeg. Nice dry finish.

2008 bottle. Pours a clear dark orange with a thick light tan head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices: cinnamon, nutmeg. Not much pumpkin in the nose. Flavor is rather sweet and spicy with some baked pumpkin spice bitterness and wheat cracker malt in the finish. Nice body and mouthfeel. Of course, I’d like a little more pumpkin but this isn’t too bad. Gets a little too sweet by the end of the glass.

Bottle from Belmont Party Supply. Not necessarily my favorite style, but a sign of my favorite season. This beer was surprisingly clear, dark amber with a small whitish head. It was medium bodied, malty with a definite presence of nutmeg. I do like the fact that it was not overly spiced like some pumpkin beers, but overall, an average brew at best. The brown sugar certainly helped it achieve the 7% alcohol level.

Bottle 08’. Pours and amber/ruby with a white head. Smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkins...pumpkin pie basically. Nose is really well done. The flavor is sweet with spice and pumpkin notes in the finish. Warm full bodied brown ale that is very well done. I dont normally like Pumpkin beers all that much but this is one of the best I’ve had. Also a good bit more pricy than its counterparts.

Pours yellowish amber with minimal head. Nose is dominated by spice- lots of clove and nutmeg. Flavor is spicy with some sweet malt and a slight citrus hop bitterness. Quite nice.

Golden Pour, Light dissipating head. Light pumpkin, nutmeg spicy aromas. Subtle spice, light, sweet, small amount of brown sugar maltiness. Small amount of pumpkin in the back of the throat.
