Flavor is dominated by spice. Doesn’t really taste like pumpkin, more just like spice. Cinnamon and nutmeg (as another poster said) ale. Still interested in trying other pumpkin beers though. The pumpkin flavor is there but not overbearing. Its kinda like a brown ale pouring on on a loaf of pumpkin bread. Not a beer I would like all the time, but good to have every year. If only this was pumpkin stout!. Hoptagon (138), Arlington, Virginia, USA

As has been my usual experience with this beer, the pour is dark amber with little to no head. Aroma brings to mind a fresh pumpkin pie with cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg dominating. The flavor is a bit more subdued, one of the things I like about this beer is that the pumpkin is not overdone. It complements the beer, but doesn’t overpower it. Body is medium and the malts hold up well behind all the spices. Perfect fall beer. parel (3), Ft. This one pours with a small to medium fully-lasting head. The color was an attractive blood orange. Lively carbonation was noted. The aroma was delightful. I could detect notes of clove, allspice and that general "pumpkin pie" scent. I normally enjoy the aroma of a beer far more than the flavor, but this one, I can honestly say, did not disappoint. Brown sugar and cinnamon mingled on my tongue, along with the obvious pumpkin flavoring, as a nice brown ale maltiness wrapped it up. I certainly enjoyed this festive brew. Poured a burnt orange amber with almost no head. Nose was mostly malt and cinnamon for me, flavor much of the same with a hint of pumpkin.
