It is still enjoyable with its deep copper color and very cinnamony/ nutmegy/ allspicy aroma. It is a solid beer and much better than other pumpkins available in FL. The most notable taste is the cinnamon & spice, whereas in years past it has been the pumpkin. Hmmm... SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2008 New copper in color. The nose was spicy and filled with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and coffee. In the mouth it was medium-bodied and smooth showing the pumpkin followed by a touch of spice but not as much as the nose. A well-balanced beer that is very drinkable and enjoyable but the palate does not stand out like the nose does. Perm (151), Tryon, North Carolina, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 22, 2008 One of my perennial favorite pumpkin ales, although it might be too spicy for some. I find this recipe sublime, beginning with the smoky and woody nose. The taste of pumpkin is subtle, not too sweet, before handing it over to the cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Conjures up images of autumn leaves, a roaring fire, and hot homemade pie. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Sugary aroma with light spice. Alcohol is very present in the taste, with ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon in the background. Wow! Thin carbonation, decent body. What an interesting approach to pumpkin beer - high alcohol really surprises. Great spice, but where’s the pumpkin? doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 8, 2008 12oz bottle, marked 8/9/07. Pours clearish orangish color with a very thin 1/4" head. Much less spicy smelling than the year old bottle. Still get a little spice and a little pumpkin but definitely not as much. Again, much less spice on the nose. But I think its better that way. More sweetness in the spice and a more sweet pumpkin taste. Thin and crisp palate. Much more drinkable than the 1 year old bottle... ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Strong alcohol and pumpkin nose with spiciness in the background. Taste of pumpkin (duh), alcohol and spices. A nice winter seasonal and one of the few pumpkin beers I can handle. Extra credit for my wife liking this.
