Strong alcohol and pumpkin nose with spiciness in the background. Taste of pumpkin (duh), alcohol and spices. A nice winter seasonal and one of the few pumpkin beers I can handle. Extra credit for my wife liking this. MegannageM (8), USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2008 mmm nice and spicy. This is probably one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve tried. Not over done and just the right amount of spice. The aroma is similar to your mum baking a pumpkin pie in the oven. Body is nice and creamy. Flavor is brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. The only thing that’s missing is some whipped cream. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

The taste is nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin. My girlfriend says it is like "pumpkin pie in a glass." It has a smooth and sweet finish. It is the best pumpkin beer I have had, and is just what one should be. Capa (970), Yokosuka, Japan
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2007 I love pumpkin ales, so when I found a bottle of this in Japan I was pretty excited. Spicy aroma with sweet malts and some pumpkin. Full body that was smooth and creamy. Body is spicier than I was expecting, with malts, some brown sugar and pumpkin that seemed to be strong but not strong enough to power through the spices. While I enjoyed this beer I was a little disappointed that the pumpkin is as muted as it is. Still, nice brew. Cybercat (792), Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 26, 2007 Pours a clear orangy amber with an off-white and thick but not persistent head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a hint of spice. Flavor is mainly malty with an undertone of pumpkin - unique and satisfying, as well as smooth and pleasant to drink. Perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and whatever winter holiday you celebrate. daniellerose7 (119), new york, New York, USA

Mild white head that dies and laces as mild as can be but consistant. Smells of freshly baked pumpkin pie and lots of halloween spice and everything nice. Tastes as it smells with some nice malty backbone. A tasty brew indeed. Medium and a little creamy in the mouth. Nice tickle of carbonation and a nice octoberfest session beer. Cheers!
