Skeegle (476), Maryland, USA Dec 4, 2007 Nice and subdued pumpkin taste. Very spicey but not sweet at all. Nice and clean beer. I like. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Dec 3, 2007 Pour: orange yellow. Head: creamy offwhite. Aroma: tart, pumpkin, some spice. Flavor: pumpkin, spice, some hops. Palate: smooth. Finish: clean. pepsican (883), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA Dec 2, 2007 Clear amber with a small white head. spice, pumpkin, and cinnamon in the nose. Same for the flavor. Roasted malts are thrown in, as well as a good amount of other spices. Really interesting for the winter and i hope to try it again. corby112 (671), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 29, 2007 Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a small white head. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and sugar cane. Nice amount of spice to balance out the pumpkin flavoring resulting in less of a pumpkin taste than I would have liked. Overall, a pretty good seasonal beer. Cajun (144), New Iberia, Louisiana, USA Nov 25, 2007 Bottle - Pours amber with white head. Pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon nose. All the flavors of pumpkin pie, spice, malted grain, not much notice of hops - maybe slight. Not something I’d drink regular, but it was okay. Might have been better with holiday food. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Nov 25, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin, white head. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Mouthfeel is much of the same, but the pumpkins really balance well with the spices. A nice sweetness shines through near the end. The finish is mildly bitter. Decent beer. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Nov 24, 2007 A little too spicy for me. All the pumpkin pie stuff is there. Pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon. I am not all that on this style. I could drink it...just not one of the favs. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 24, 2007 12 oz. bottle split with ’Naka. Pours amber with small white head rimming the glass. Spice nose, touch of malt, and a bit of skunk. Nice malt character, hops are diminished by mulling spices. Still has a crisp finish, with spice and alcohol notes in the after. Pretty damn delicious. Best pumpking brew I’ve had.
