slightly cloudy, orange/amber color, short white head, nice fresh pumpkin aroma, cinnamon, spices, nutmeg, and brown sugar, lightly hopped; flavor is just like pumpkin pie, cinnamon and brown sugar, nutmeg, a bit fizzy, perfect amount of sweetness and just a touch of hop flavor

This is a very good pumpkin beer. I like that it isn't too sweet or overpoweringly pumpkin.

My favorite punkin beer in a category that is not my favorite. Nice blend of punkin flavor and spices. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear copper color with a tan head. Aromas of pumpkin and pie spices. Flavor the same with some malty sweetness. A little alcohol warmth at the finish. Light to medium mouth feel. No noticable lacing in the glass. Nice flavors for a pumpkin ale.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2015 12 oz. bottle. Pale amber color, small head which quickly recedes. Aroma of malt, cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Tastes of malt, faint pumpkin notes, cinnamon, nutmeg. Spices are not overdone and blend in fairly well. Decent.

Aroma: reminiscent of fake nutmeg smell in cartons of egg nog; not pleasant, but not the beer’s fault; Appearance: amber with minimal white head; no lacing; Taste: sweet with pumpkin and nutmeg flavors; some alcohol; not for me; Palate: medium body, long finish with odd aftertaste; Overall: can appreciate the effort but definitely not my style; would not buy again

Brown bottle, whole foods, San Francisco. Scent is medium nutty. Taste is medium caramel and toffee malts with a distinct pumpkin hue. Finish is clean and dry. Good.

Bottle@home. Medium, sweet aroma with pumpkin, sweet malts and some cinnamon. Orange color with small natural white head and clear liquid. Medium and balanced taste of pumpkin, sweet malts and almost Christmas notes like cinnamon and cardamom. Medium taste spectrum and medium/short aftertaste with pumpkin and malts. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall classy product without too much pumpkin.

12Fl OZ ($9.99 4 pack) these guys are seriously over rated. maybe you east coast folks have a lack of quality beers but here in california this doesn’t stand a chance. once again another over price, over pushed, over hyped beer from dogfish head. not bad but not living up to the price or hype.
