This is a highly routed touted beer, and it is good. But I’ve had other pumpkin beers that are better. Pours an orange/amber. Aromas are pumpkin, sweet butter, some spice. Flavors are sweet pumpkin, a touch of fall spice. Boozy. Good stuff.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 08.23.14. A: There isn’t much to smell. Maybe nutmeg and clove. A: 2 finger head. See through gold body with lots of bubbles. T: Spice. P: I didn’t care about the mouthfeel. O: There was no pumpkin, cinnamon, or brown sugar here. It did have the signature Dogfish Head flavor that is in almost all of their beers. It was terrible, but I’m beginning to understand that I hate brown ales so this review is somewhat biased. Drain pour. Actually, I ’accidentally’ spilled it all over the outdoor table.

Dogfish Head punkin is still one of my favorite pumpkin’s on the market. However, the only reason it isn’t a 5, is that this year they changed something. The alcohol % was different and the flavor wasn’t there like it was before. I bought cases of this stuff from dog fish head brewery directly and brought them across the country to poor little Idaho where we are dogfish head deprived and it is a different beer from them. However, it is still one of the better ones out there.

I get the well blended aromas of punkin, nutmeg, and cinamon in this crystal clear bronze orangie colored brew with a small white head around the rim of the glass. Pretty much straight forward with the punkin taste. Nice and crisp with a rather lightish body for what i was expecting. A solid brew worth a buy.

This is a pumpkin beer. I don't like pumpkin beers. This pumpkin beer is okay because it isn't overpowered by cinnamon & sugar like a pumpkin pie. There are some hops and a cool malt profile in this pumpkin beer. In the realm of pumpkin beers, this is solid.

Pours a darker orange, lacy head with lots of carbonation. Aroma is malt with slight pumpkin. Pumpkin spice flavor with a malt and pumpkin back. Noticeable alcohol aftertaste and relatively clean mouthfeel.

One of my favorite pumpkin beers. Heavy in spices and pumpkin tastes. It is perfect for fall when the weather gets colder and you need Dogfish Head to bring the flavor.

On draft at dogfish head alehouse in falls church it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is cinnamon and the taste is spicy with hints of nutmeg and cloves

On tap at The Hopping Pig in San Diego. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma is slight pumpkin and slight malt. Nutmeg also. No pumpkin pie sweetness. Fairly dry. Ok but not my favorite in the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft poured in pint glass. Aroma was a little lacking, no head. Tastes light a "light" pumpkin beer. Overall, for a seasonal, I’d recommend.
