This beer lived up to its hype. One of the best and smoothest pumpkin beers I've had. I like that the pumpkin isn't over powering the beer taste and it left me wanting more ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer was very disappointing for Dogfish Head. The pumpkin was very faint. It almost appeared to be paired with a lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours orange and amber with a small, white head. The aroma is subtle for a pumpkin beer with hints of pumpkin and spice. The taste is subtle on pumpkin at first. As it warms, the pumpkin is more pronounced. You get the cinnamon and nutmeg too. It tastes more like a brown at times. It goes down pretty easy for the alcohol content.

Fresh bottle from the keg ’n bottle store in San Diego. Clear ruby color. Good head. Aroma is tricky. Once the head vanishes it smells like a bud light or any other corn rice crap beer. When you stir it it smells like spices, pumpkin, cinnamon. Taste is completely different. Malty, pumpkin, spicy, cinnamon, some dark bitter fruits. Controversial beer in my opinion. Overall tasty.

Deep amber with a cream-colored head. Spicy aroma, nutmeg, cinnamon. Sweet taste at first. Spicy, lightly hoppy finish.

This was a favorite, so I picked up 6 4pks. I’ve had 3 and it’s not as good as I remember.

The initial aroma come across like a banana eggnog, but it subsides quickly. The flavor is mild and unimpressive. This is a smooth beer and good for daytime drinking. If you’re looking for pumpkin/fall flavor I prefer jolly pumpkin (although it’s a sour).

12oz bottle. Pours copper with a small white head. Aroma and taste are both predominantly pumpkin with traces of spice. Malt in the aroma. Brown sugar in the taste. Light hoppiness to the finish. Full body. Above average - slightly too much. Crisp mouthfeel.
