The departure from the 12 ounce bottle produces a clear copper color with a stupendous off white creamy head that last longer than the energizer bunny, lacing is a solid sheet, which circumnavigates the glass. Nose is sweet with Pumpkin and spices like cinnamon and ginger and a touch of vanilla, quite a treat for the old schnozzle. Start has a nice pumpkin and malt sweetness, light bitterness at the back, top is light to medium in feel. Finish continues the sweet malt and spicy taste, the acidity plausible, aftertaste sweet and tart, a fine beer.

RERATE 11/05 Pours orange/brown from bottle, with a gorgeous foamy head. Smells like pumpkin pie. Can taste the spices, along with the alcohol, and other flavors, but the pumpkin is not overpowering. Lacing chases the beer down the glass. Flavors blend better as you drink. Finishes nicely. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve tried..

Poured an orange with a white bubbly head that clinged to the glass. Spicy cinnamon aroma. Nice malty pumpkin spice taste. Good stuff.

Great seasonal beer. VERY pumpkiny flavor start to finish. Not something I would drink day-in-day-out, but a nice change of pace.

A bright copper/orange. Decent head, lots of carbonation that settles. Aroma of allspice, pumpkin and nutmeg. Smooth, medium bodied, almost creamy texture, nutmeg and allspice come out first, then the malts with hints of cinnamon and pumpkin. This has loads of flavor and a nice body. I'm not all into pumpkin brews but this is pretty tasty.

This was fairly heavily spiced and very successfully so. I quite enjoyed it. Nice aroma of cloves and cinnamon right off the bat. Rusty amber color and low tight head. List sweet malt taste gets blown away quickly by the spices. Peppery end (mix of spices and hops?). Bold and just plain well done!

Bottle. Pours brown, amber, with little white head. Aroma is of spice, nutmeg comes out big, then allspice, maybe a hint of cinnamon, and a touch of sugar. Body is medium. Flavor is malty, with light spice, the brown sugar comes through here specially towards the warmer bottom of the glass. Finish is all spice and dries up things a bit at the very end. Lingering pumpkin flavors. I am not a seeker of these styles by any means so this is my first pumpkin ale but it’s far better than I expected. I got another version in the fridge I can’t wait to compare this to. Overpriced because it’s DFH in AZ but still probably worth another bottle for me. Well put together and not overdone. Re-rate: managed to find another case fo this stuff. I think I got all that’s left in AZ for this year. This stuff is great, and I’ve got 4 other brewers versions so far to compare it too.

12oz btl- Interesting to say the least. It really is like pumpkin pie in a bottle. Great spices of clove and cinnemon. Not my favorite style of beer, but I had no problem drinking the glass.
