Pours deep mahogany with small white head; nose is caramel, pumpkin spice, and brown sugar. Tastes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and heavily spiced pumpkin peel. Very nice. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA

Fantastic aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, brown sugar, and nutmeg (as advertised!). Medium palate, which is a bit thinner than I expected. There is more spice to the flavor than pumpkin. Nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon for sure. The finish is clean, but a bit bitter. Very nice beer. mansquito (852), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Ironically enough, I found this beer in the fridge of a frathouse at Brown University. Smelled it and it had a nice pumkin smell that was confirmed by other people who smelled it. Pretty thick and brown colored head. Definately has a complex palate, with an undertone of pumpkin and various spices. Strong alcohol taste is completely masked by the rich taste. Quite an excellent brew.
