I just moved and have no pint glasses, so I’m currently drinking this out of the bottle. However, it gives off a nice scent of cinnamon and brown sugar. The taste is of a nutty ale with a nice touch of pumpkin spice and cinnamon. Great beer by a great brewery.

Pours a clear amber orange color with a thin off white head. The aroma is some pumpkin pie spices, graham cracker and a hint of hop. I taste thin flavors of baked pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, semisweet malt and maybe a touch of hop. Somewhat watery

Doesnít matter if it smells good when the taste is this bad. Truth be told, most pumpkin beers arenít very good- they are mostly flavors of allspice nutmeg and maybe cinnamon that youíll taste. The challenge is to actually get it to taste like pumpkin. With this title and the 10.00 price for 4 of them. I can only imagine punkin means youíre being punked when you pay for this poor example of a pumpkin ale. Címon dogfish - Iíve had 8-9 of your beers and I thought surely this would be in form with the rest of the beers Iíve had. Theyíre usually good, this one - save your money. Even though last yearís pumking by southern tier was so much better than this years representation - youíll be better off paying for that. Heck even most other poor tasting pumpkin beers like shipyard are better than this.

Pours a clear orangish amber, with decent whitish tan head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices. Taste of pumpkin, slightly sweet, malty with more complex spices in the background. I can feel the 7% alcohol kick. A very nice pumpkin ale, not overdone, well balanced, and quite drinkable. Thumbs up!

Bottle pour powder keg beer and chili festival. Aroma is dominant pumpkin as expected. Appearance is golden brown with minimal sparkle, small white head with poor retention and fair lacing. Taste is pumpkin sweet flavors with spices. Palate is light bodied with average carbonation with some effervescence. Overall, a good but straightforward take on the genre.
