3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a beautiful copper orange with a thin off-white, foamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is off pumpkin pie spices (nutmeg,q cinnamon, clove) and a vague sweetness offset by the citrusy presence of hops. Flavor is slightly sweet with pumpkin, nutmeg, and other spices taking the lead. However, these are countered a bit by hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is watery, and as one might expect. However, the carbonation may be a bit strong. In sum: A good pumpkin beer, but not quite the one I fell in love with several years ago. It could just be me, but too many hops mar the experience just a bit.

Not a very noticeable pumpkin flavor. Nice orange pour. medium bitterness, lightly sour. Disappointing.

Delicious brew with a thin white head. Aroma is pumpkin and the aftertaste is light pumpkin. Great beer.

A great pumpkin beer for those that are turned off by absolute spice bombs. It's balanced but still clearly tastes as you'd expect. I enjoy it.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is copper in color, thin white head. Aroma is allspice, very slight pumpkin, and caramel malts. Taste is dominated by spice. Not much else on the palate. Hugely disappointing.

Usually donít go for pumpkin beers but this one is one of the best Iíve tried (again, not my thing so I havenít tried that many). The spices (nutmeg, allspice) are nicely balanced and the pumpkin isnít overwhelming. Almost more sweet potato-ish. I like that itís more natural tasting instead of artificial like I find most pumpkin beers to be. Good stuff.

Tap. Pours a transparent light amber with a ring of off white head. Aroma of spices and malts with some pumpkin.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Iíve had this quite a few times, including both tap and bottles. so Iím not sure how it escaped rating. This review is based largely on a 2013 bottle with a slight push from more favorable memories and notes. A bit over-spiced for my taste, especially the nutmeg and allspice. The spices pretty much over-power any contribution from baked pumpkiins but allow some malt to shine thru.

Bottle. Amber color with large off-white foamy head, spicy pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, balanced pumpkin taste with a metallic tang at the end, medium finish with metallic aftertaste. If the metallic taste is not due to something that has gone wrong with this bottle, then itís a big problem!
