Poured from fresh growler. Smell is of alcohol and raisins. Nice clear auburn color. Taste is malt heavy with sweet dark fruit and raisins. This stuff has an extremely strong alcohol taste for only.being 8%. Sweet sticky mouthfeel. A bit disappointing.

FROM NOTES; July 1, ’12
Poured from a bottle into my DFH glass.
A: Strong hop notes and some fruity overtones.
A: Pours an amber color with a very light tan head.
T: Very smooth with some heavy alcohol at the end, which i wasn’t expecting..
P: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and warming finish.
O: I am happy I’ve had one, and hope to have many more. I can’t help but wonder how much better this beer would be if cellared......
