This is another one of my most frequently consumed Dogfish Head beers. It’s not my favorite, but it was always widely available in my hometown. Always served cold from 12 oz. bottle. Pours reddish brown with a small head and no lacing. Aroma is grapes, the alcohol is discernible. The taste is intriguing. Not my favorite flavor, but then again Belgians aren’t my preferred choice of beer. The finish is very sweet, maybe a little too sweet for me. Good, but not great.

Jul 21, 2008 Pours a deep mahogany colour with a faint, barely noticeable white top. Aroma is faint raisins, little oak, but particularly nutty. Mouthfeel is creamy, light and pleasent. Artichokes!! Carmel, carmel apples, toffe sweet potatoe and almonds.

Jul 19, 2008 I wouldn’t say this particular beer is my exact reason for being. Beer in general and boobs have that classification, but this is definitely decent and well made. Gets an aight approval.

Jul 15, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a creamy, medium carbonation. Aroma and flavor is of sweet maltiness, raisins, brown sugar. I like the candied sugars and the sweetness it brings, but not overpowering. Complex and a medium mouthfeel. Alcohol is undetectable. Great beer.

Jul 15, 2008 Caramel and brown sugar aroma. Caramel, raisins, burnt sugar, and cookie flavor. Finish is alcoholic and strong. However, alcohol is balanced by overall sweetness.

Jul 13, 2008 siena/amber colored, clear with a thin coating of a head that has some clinginess to it.
whiskyish aroma with dark dark fruits and caramel toffee aspects
taste: caramelly/toffee/malts, raisins
