Aroma is hint of brown sugar, bready yeast, dark fruits. Taste is sweet, brown sugar and malt up front move to yeasty breadiness and dark fruits, raisins. Finishes with the slight bitterness of dark fruits and a hint of breadcrust. Mouthfeel is medium body, with crisp but light carbonation. Little bit dry on the finish as a result. A bit heavy on the raisiny-dark fruitiness in the overall balance.

I like the candied sugars and the sweetness it brings, but not overpowering. Complex and a medium mouthfeel. Alcohol is undetectable. Great beer. Aroma: Malty, caramel, sweet, raisons (I would hope), slight coffee roast.
Appearance: Deep oak, brown, mahogany. Darker, but clear with no cloudiness or haze. Very small white head that leaves quickly, but remains lacy.
Flavor: Malty, candy sugar, caramel, almost a little bubble gum to it. Definitely sweet and a little bit of fruit.
Palate: Very smooth and creamy. Not overpowering at all. Sweet all the way down with a slight bitter and roasty aftertaste.
Overall: Very, very impressed. Not watered down at all. Balance is perfect. A great beer at dinner and a great session beer.
