12oz bottle, labeled 3/2007. My third of the dogfish ’strongs’ .. imo nicer than the 120min, smoother, but not as enjoyable as the world wide stout. Aromatic, fruity nose that jumps across the room. tight creamy head. absolutely luscious, smooth and of course sticky mouthfeel. Definite taste of raisins amongst the intense malt. Hints of hops to balance a bit, but still very sweet (molasses). Alcohol swells in the end. Tasty, unusual, probably will only have once.

Bottle (EBF2008) - thanks bierkoning!
Boozy aroma. Sweet malty booze on the tongue. OK, the malt’s good - there are some sweetish buns in there too trying to get out - and the hops are pleasant, but they’re drowned in booze. (6-4-7-2-10=2.9)

Fruity, some clue, nice coffee hints, very rich roast. Glue builds up quickly. Alcohol quite well covered. Very roasty, but mellow raisiny port aroma too. At its best, great, at its worst, sweet alcoholic glue.

From bottle @ EBF 2008. Loads of pineapple and red berries, malt and grapefruit in the aroma. Sugary, malty sweet flavor. Alcoholic, of course. Oily hops. Pineapple. Liquorish. Too much of the good things.

Pours *thick*, a murky amber - like light molasses. Still manages a great head, though - feels much like the 120 min. Aroma is sweet malts, raisins and an alcohol burn. Flavor adds dark, overripe fruit (plums), a bit of oak, and even more powerful malts. Sticky, syrupy sweet. The alcohol really shows with this one, and while it certainly seems more intriguing than the 120 min, this one is still over-the-top.

Bottle at EBF. Brown colour with a small creamy head. Powerfull aroma of berries, overripe fruit and alcohol. Medium body. Very rich flavour of dark fruits like raisins and prunes. The alcohol gives this beer lots of warmth and its the last thing you will experience from each sip.

Dark carmel color with a hint of red. Aroma of dark fruit, especially prunes. molasses and alcohol. Taste is surprisingly complex with a bright sweetness of dates, and a dryish finish, besides the dark, overripe fruit and malt flavor. The alcohol just gives a nice warmth. One worth buying again to serve friends.

12 oz bottle from a trade with Solan. Pours a dark amber color with zero head. Aroma of sweet dark fruits and alcohol. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth and malty syrupy with soft carbonation. The finish is long with plenty of lingering prunes. Overall: A a very rich extreme concoction. Recommended try.

Aroma of prunes and alcohol. Deep red with no head. Flavor is full of dark fruit and of course a bit of alcohol.
