great beer. The alcohol content is hidden wow. Glad i looked this up because I would have been passed out. Great beer pours the typical trappist color and has no head. Tastes of raisens and spice. Fantastic!

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet malty alcoholic aroma with some caramel hints. Sweet malty warming fruity raisin flavor, with some hints of caramel. Sweet malty warming dark fruit finish.

Poured a thin head with rapid dissipation. This beer showed molasses-brown hues. My nose detected strong caramel highlights with a bit of Black & Mild pipe tobacco underneath. My taste buds were happy with the raisin, caramel, and smooth tobacco flavors. Heavy alcoholic glow and bite. I shared this 12-ounce bottle with a friend and still received a tasty buzz. Low carbonation. Loose, but sturdy lace. Very palatable and vibrant.

[12 oz. bottle] Amber colour, medium head. Sweet, slightly burnt aroma with notes of raisins and caramel. Sweet sherry-like warming flavour. A true sipping-beer.

Now this was nice!! had on tap at the brewpub. decent tan head caremel and dried fruit nose a little alcohol there too. malts and fruit are very evident as well as the high concentration of alcohol.

Honestly, I loved the flavor of this. You knew it had some alcohol, but would never know how strong. It’s very drinkable and tasty. The only drawback is that instead of raisins, my wife is right when she said that it has a bit of an aroma of ripe plantains.

Bottle at KØ07. Green apple, paint aroma. Clear red/brown colour. Very small head. Paint stripper flavour! Too strong and alcoholic. Not my cup of beer.

Aroma of raisin, raisin, caramel, and some nut. Medium amber hue, head is almost non-existent. Very fruity on the tongue. Big body with medium carbonation. Suprisingly not that warm considering the alcohol content. Nice big beer!
