12 oz. bottle. I actually had to pour this down the drain after a few sips. It was incomprehensibly sweet, and I felt like I was drinking a whole bottle of Robotussin, which I have in fact done. Each offering was equally unenjoyable.

Pours deep amber with no head. Aroma of grape/raisin, Fruity. Tastes like a carbonated grape juice. Very sweet. Intresting. Nice.

the aroma is nice, but it isn’t quite as strong as I hoped. It’s fruity like grape juice, with a hint of caramel or brown sugar. The color is a deep amber/ruby and it produces no head, only a thin pale film of bubbles that disappears quickly. The flavor is fruity and gets more enjoyable as it warms, until a certain point where the warmth really shows the alcohol. Somewhere in between it’s just right. It’s got a typical DFH sweetness. Very fine to sit back and enjoy.

I hate raisins. They remind me of the Sun Maid. While yes...she did have nice flowing brown pig tails, she didn’t inspire a great beer. This beer is a novelty. It is strong (hell yeah) and it now has me not composing proper sentences, but beer is not about strength. It is about taste. While this is strong and dominating. It is not a great all around beer.

Sweet, sweet, sweet. I had no idea it was this alcoholic, but the complexities were somewhat overwhelmed by just sweet fruit syrup. Well disguised alcohol, but just hard to drink until it got near room temp.

Hazed, burnished copper body with a small beige head. Hardly any lacing. Aroma is bubblegum, raisins, plums, and a caramel note. Somewhat fusel. Low carbonation and a medium body. Sweet and fruity with raisins, plums, and berries. Alcohol is too big to hide. Toffee notes float underneath. Surprisingly smooth as it warms. More drinkable than expected, but a slow sipper, obviously.

Thick, heavy, very sweet beer. Pours a smooth, dark amber color. Tastes of raisons (obviously), but also maple syrup. Almost no carbonation and a complex taste that changes as it goes down. Very, very thick... can’t drink more than one of these.
