| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Pours a vivacious dark hazy peach with small white head. Aroma is quite tart with nectar, citrus, and spicy yeast. Flavor is sweet and somewhat yeasty- nicely hopped for the style- very inviting and welcomed. Finishes with fruity sweetness and a semi-dry lip smacking final swig. Palate is a tad on the thin side but nice considering the malt content. craftycarl21 (524), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Pours a vibrant red-orange with a very small head. Aroma is sweet, with cherries, tart citrus, and some yeast from the belgian white character. Flavor is very sweet and vinous, definite fruity notes- has some dry alcohol notes at the finish. Nice palate, very unique and intriguing brew. icculus801 (24), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2009 Pours a hazy light amber with a thin white head. Aroma with the coriander and the wine really comes though. Flavor of a typical Belgian but then the wine comes in at the end as it dries out with a wonderful warm finish. A very interesting beer, and since it’s from Dogfish Head, you know it’s good. ruggedman (616), Portland, Maine, USA

Pours a nice light yellow-gold with hints of reddish pink. Aroma is a nice pinot like grape scent. Flavor is dry, alcoholic, and slightly fruity. This is a nice dry beer with wine hints, i like this style. Another pretty cool brew from Dogfish. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 2, 2009 More gold than red, thin translucent head on a deep, golden hazy body, looks very nice. Taste is deep Belgian, fruity with a very warm finish. Truly great and with an amazing finish. You can really taste the wine. Sticky, sweet and warm. A must have. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Draft at Binny’s South Loop. I never really had a strong desire to taste this one, but now I’m glad I did. Pours an orange color with a distinct nose of a Belgian wit with a touch of banana and vanilla, as well as citric notes. Taste is very vanilla forward from the oak with a distinct pungent pinot character as well. The flavors come together really nicely and I never once felt overwhelmed by the alcohol character. Very nice. macguy (144), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2009 A Twitter friend recommended this beer. This is one of those dangerous beers; the alcohol taste is hidden by the complex flavors. The nose is fresh, fruity with citrus tones. The color is almost a peach blush. It pours with a nice white head which slowly fades but never completely goes away. The flavor reminds me a bit of Dutch "drop", the tasty licorice that is so popular in the Netherlands.
This beer has changed my whole attitude about Dogfish - I’m planning to buy a few bottles and set them aside for future goodness. angrypirate06 (707), Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nice redish orange. Long lasting foamy head. Nose is sweet, with some malts, bread scents and citrus. Decently carbonated. Syrupy palate. Bottle I had was a couple months old, which helped remove some of the alcohol on the back end, leaving a sweeter and more enjoyable beer.
