Hazy red with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with a lot of grape, a bit of coriander and other vague herbal notes. Medium bodied. Flavours of fruit and cream, with hints of wood and wine, and a mildly herbal finish. Didn’t wow me, but still quite tasty. CaptBier (302), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 29, 2008 pours clouds with little bits floating around. Huge head. Smells sweet of belgian but hints of wine. Taste is oak up front giving in to a light red taste. Little spices and alcoholic finish. I can taste the oak. This is a excellent balance between beer and wine. This has a lot going on and could turn a couple wine snob heads. Highly recommended! garthicus (1273), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
