| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 30, 2007 Poured a ruby red color with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is of sweet fruits and red wine. The coriander and orange peel are also noticeable. At first the taste was sweet with the fruits and red wine, and had a nice bite from some hops. As the beer warmed up it become very smooth and easy to drink. The alcohol left a nice warming feeling all the way down. I definitely enjoyed this beer. presario (2956), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2007 More wine than beer. I won’t be asking for a pitcher. Red with white head. Light fruit and big flower aroma. Taste starts with grapes and unripe plums. Hint of wine in the teeth. Some hop finish as you get into it and more crisp grape. guzzler67 (1277), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2007 Cloudy, reddish amber appearace with a small, off white head and good lacing. Grapey aroma, well spiced, some yeastiness. Tart, crisp, fruity, wheat taste, moderately sweet, woody, earthy, vinous. Medium-to-full bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel leading to a long lasting, spicy finish. Interesting mix of flavors, which the brewers probably had fun putting together. carl4beer (400), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 27, 2007 750ml bottle and served in my NB worthy glass: Poured a sunset orange hue topped by a nice frothy lasting head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of orange zest, blood orange and tangerine, hint of grape, coriander, floral hops, some other biscuity character, and a very faint nose of oak.
The taste is a hodge podge of sweet and tart fruits, mild spice and a simple yeast base. The finish is oaky and dry with the alcohol making a palate cleansing appearance. The mouth feel has a drawn out stickiness without the refreshing quality of a Witbier. Overall, once again DFH let me down with it’s latest releases. Nice to try once but I will likely not buy another after I finish this bottle and the other I bought. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
